‎The constant thing in life is change an element of time. The wheel keeps spinning and the things we have now becomes no more in the nearest feature. Mankind is blessed with intelligence which has produced innovative ideas, who would have thought we were once humans who had nothing but stones for tools. Gradually our ideas evolved now here we are with more innovations that supersedes the imaginations of our ancestors.

‎We humans invest our time, effort and knowledge in ensuring the advancement of technology, to ensure sustainable future for mankind and our environment. Is it not lovely? Having to experience all sort of technological advancements in our lifetime. I mean who could have thought it would be possible to reach out to a friend you have seen in decades through our smart devices, staying connected with all that matters to us without moving an inch, doesn't it sound intriguing? The comfort and simplicity provided by technology is something that makes us look forward to more technological advancements in the nearest future.

Are we living in the best era? Well, time will tell. Judging from what we have now, it is quite certain that technology advancements would go beyond what is imaginable in the nearest future. All sort of tools and gadget we never thought possible would be within our reach. We might even see flying cars and robots with similar features to a human being in the nearest future but that doesn't really bother me because technological advancement is a factor that is inevitable.

‎There are other stuff that matters, things that might seem less concerning right now but I also consider it inevitable has technology rises. Whenever I find myself watching all kind of movies that involves the future and all, there is usually something common in each and everyone one of them, which are: Technological advancement and humanity's failure.

‎I'm not trying to generalize reality based on some ideas portrayed in a movie but it is enough to have you thinking, why does every movie that gives us a glimpse of the future of technological advancement always put humanity in a struggling state? When I say humanity, I'm not talking about the extinction of mankind due to some virus or something, I'm more concerned about what happens within.

‎What makes a human being is not what is seen but the horrors within, our attributes, our warmth and other stuff that matters. Technological advancements will do just fine but how it will impact the lives of humans and our thinking is something unpredictable. We are living in an era when others would rather watch their fellow humans starve while piling up a mountain of provisions in their homes, giving has now become a strange word, an attribute of the few. As time goes on, mankind would depend on technology for everything that matters and what does that mean for humans?

Which era do I prefer? In terms of some areas of medicine and organic materials, I definitely prefer hundreds of years ago. I just hate the fact that, unknown chemicals reside in almost everything we consume, all in the name of preservatives. A lot of people are falling ill due to high rate of organ failure and life expectancy is falling and unstable like the crypto market.

Am I happy in this era or do I wish to have been born hundreds of years ago? I don't even know what to wish for, it is not as if our ancestors didn't have their own issues. I'm not trying to be an anti-technology or anti-development kind of guy but I'm more concerned about the values, health of we humans and our significance.

‎Sadly it is dwindling and it seems there is little or nothing anyone can do about it. Has it ever crossed your mind? the more tools we create to make ourselves more comfortable; the more the Chaos it causes. It seems like a more expensive price to pay for comfort. Which makes it more difficult for me to decide on which era is best or the one I'm happy with.

You are right broh, we have not seen anything yet if it has to do with technology. With the way things are, in the near future, wonders will happen through technology.

I love the times of our ancestors, I love the love, the calmness, the decency, the naturality and so many other things in their day but we are in this time for a reason, instead of wishing for what is behind, I think it's best if we focus on how to make things better for us in our era

If we are being honest, the possibilities that the future holds can’t be measured. Literally, anything can happen, I’m sure technology would advance greatly.

And it is true, this is no absolute best era.

The big point always made in argument to why this era could be the best is basically technology. But like you explored, there are other things than that. And when you consider such things, you see the gross failure of this era that has lost a level of humanity, morality, real-life relationship and genuity. We see the perks of this era and it's wonderful, but it's hard to discard that the old era had a beautiful way it happened, though lacking sophisticated technology which is the common talking point for this era. But hey, we're glad for the technology.
