Role of Technology in our lives

I guess the reason why technology came into existence and keeps revolving is to aid humans and help us relieve stress and some hard tedious jobs that tend to take us more time than expected.

An example is the plowing machine, with the use of that machine one can decide to plow more than one farm a day unlike when it was done manually that is when people used their farm tools, during those days, they had to employ more hands and even with that, some jobs tend to take days before completion but when the machine came into existence, one can work on more than one farm a day if he wishes to plow them.

Not just the farm machinery, we have the mobile phones we are currently using, which gives us access to reach out to whomever we wish to reach out to wherever the person may be, and get to know so many things in different locations and vicinity even when we have never reached those places. It helps us send messages instead of using post offices that take days, weeks, and even months to get to the owner. Technology was invented to give us an easy and stress-free life but then, but it still does not rule out the fact that in life, everything has its positive anf negative side.

Matter of fact, as the year comes to an end and starts again, so is technology changing and developing to assist and meet our needs. The developers yearly tend to bring up new ideas to redevelop their products they aim to meet our now as the year comes to an end and starts again.

Fortunately, the different technologies are obviously helping us in the best way they were manufactured to help us but unfortunately, as these things revolve, we have people who instead of making proper use of these technologies in their possession use them to make many unhappy.

Yearly, we can attest that the rate at which cybercrime is increasing and coming in different forms is alarming, the funny thing is when the developers find a way to make the technology high-tech, the people who are involved in these fraudulent acts also find another way to counter their plans and make their work futile.

Since the invention of technology, so many things have been made easy, now people stay in the comfort of their homes, do their jobs, and get them delivered to their clients and still earn like everyone who has physical offices and stores. Classes are done online to ease students who are far distanced or maybe students who are also employers and decided to enroll in a program, for a career or just to have their certificates. Exams/tests are taken online and submitted even in the comfort of the student's home and marks or scores are immediately shown to the student, which also relieves the teacher or lecturers of having to sit for hours to mark stacks of his student's exam scripts.

As a student, important information can be gotten from the comfort of our homes even before we get to school all because of technology, we can locate a place we are relocating to for the first time just with Google Maps on our phones, and it makes relocating easy. These and many more are my thoughts about technology's role in my life, although it still does not change that with the invention of technology, too many fraudulent activities are taking place but then, it has helped us ease so much stress and discomfort. So, the only thing we can do for ourselves is find ways to protect ourselves from getting caught while trying to harness the technologies we have with us.
