Saludos a todos Los amantes de la tecnología en esta oportunidad les quiero hablar de una memoria que acabo de adquirir para mi equipo de computación las memorias que tenía antes eran ddr4, pero con una frecuencia de 2400 mhz por segundo y actualmente compré un nuevo paquete de memorias ddr4 la marca Corsair con una frecuencia de 3200 mhz y una capacidad de 16 Gb activando el Dual Channel.

The memories I had before were ddr4, but with a frequency of 2400 MHz per second, and currently, I bought a new package of Corsair brand ddr4 memories with a frequency of 3200 MHz and a capacity of 16 GB activating the Dual Channel.

Sé que muchos tendrán dudas sobre todo la más común que es, si es preferible un solo módulos de 16 Gb o en este caso dos módulos de 8 Gb para poder activar el Dual Channel, esa es la pregunta más común que me hacen lo primero que tienes que entender es que esta tecnología no es compatible con todas las tarjetas madres por lo generar esta viene para las placas gamer por que requieren de un mayor flujo de datos y la velocidad cuenta, si tienes una placa compatible con el Dual Channel es preferible utilizar dos módulos de memorias compatibles de preferencia que vengan en un solo blíster unidas, esto garantiza una mejor fluidez de las memorias al momento de su instalación, ya que los fabricantes de estos componentes comprueban la compatibilidad de estos equipos de una manera uniforme y al pasar ese control de calidad que le hacen cada una de las empresas garantiza un mejor funcionamiento en conjunto.

La otra pregunta muy común que me hacen es que si se puede activar el Dual Channel colocando dos memorias que no sean del mismo blister y sí no es un requisito indispensable es sólo que para asegurarnos que ya ambas RAM sean comprobadas y certificadas vienen en un mismo blíster como ya les comente, pero si compramos dos blisters aparte también se pueden activar este Dual Channel siempre y cuando las memorias sean perfectamente compatibles por lo general yo recomiendo que sea tanto de la misma capacidad de almacenamiento como de la misma frecuencia exacta de esta manera pueden ser mucho más compatibles.

Otra pregunta que me hacen es que se conectan memorias de diferentes capacidades es decir una memoria de 4 Gb con una memoria de 8 Gb, en mi experiencia personal como técnico no me gusta recomendar este tipo de combinaciones no siempre asegura la activación del Dual Chanel sobre todo si tienen variantes en la frecuencia, pero hay veces que con estas variantes de capacidad, pero que son similares en la frecuencia se activa el Dual Channel sin embargo no es 100% seguro, lo que sí es que el equipo te va a encender bien pero eso no quiere decir que el Dual Channel sea activado porque tengas una variante en la capacidad de cada memoria y al no activar esta opción notaras una leve lentitud al momento de mover paquetes de datos con estas memorias.

Por último, les quiero confirmar que sí es preferible colocar en nuestros equipos dos módulos para tener activado el Dual Channel esto influye en una mejor distribución de la carga de datos, ahora si tienes un equipo que no es compatible con la tecnología Dual Channel te sugiero que coloques solo un módulo de memoria RAM de mayor capacidad porque si no es compatible con la tecnología lo mejor es colocar una memoria y cuando puedas compras otra para tener más velocidad eso es por una cuestión de economía en ese caso.
