Esp/Eng Casi se me quema el PC/My PC almost burned
Saludo comunidad el día de ayer, pasé un susto increíble hizo un cortocircuito en mi computador, mientras estaba jugando se apagó y empezó a oler a quemado, me pareció algo totalmente extraño y cuando chequeo que este salido humo de mi PC automáticamente mi reacción fue desconectarlo de la fuente de corrientes normalmente uso mi PC abierta por lo que me di rápidamente cuenta que el humo estaba saliendo y eso me dio chance de reaccionar realmente rápido. porque hubo un cortocircuito por accidente y por eso traigo este post porque a cualquiera le puede pasar y para que esto no le suceda a ninguno de ustedes, así que espero puedan verlo hasta el final porque también tenemos la solución y es bueno que conozca por completo que puedes hacer para que esto no suceda.
Greetings community yesterday, I had an incredible scare, it short-circuited my computer, and while I was playing it turned off and started to smell burning, it seemed strange to me and when I checked that smoke was coming out of my PC automatically, my reaction was to disconnect it from the current source. Normally I use my open PC, so I quickly realized that the smoke was coming out and that gave me a chance to react quickly. because there was a short circuit by accident and that's why I bring this post because it can happen to anyone and so that this does not happen to any of you, so I hope you can see it until the end because we also have the solution. Creo que es algo que le puede suceder a cualquiera porque normalmente siempre nos sobran cables en nuestra PC, uso una fuente poder de la marca Sentey, tiene años conmigo aproximadamente unos 7 años con migo, esta fuente no tiene certificación porque se hizo en el tiempo en el que esa certificación no era necesaria o no existía tiene muchos años de creada y realmente funciona muy bien sin embargo esta fuente le sobraban algunos cables en este caso el cable SATA y los tenía acomodados a un lado del Case, pero un cable SATA hizo contacto con la lata de mi Case, tengo un Case que es bastante viejo de aluminio pero cumple su función, siempre suelo acomodar los cables y de verdad estaban relativamente bien acomodados pero no sé cómo sucedió que hizo contacto con el case y produjo un chispazo que dio un cortocircuito en la computadora es extraño porque siempre la encendía y nunca había pasado esto pero bueno sucedió, menos mal estaba yo presente porque normalmente me gusta dejar a veces mi computadora encendida y no sé por qué hizo la chispa el PC estaba bien colocado nadie lo movió ni nada.
I think it's something that can happen to anyone because normally we always have cables left over from our PC, I use a Sentey brand power supply, and it has been with me for approximately 7 years, this source has no certification because it was made at a time when that certification was not necessary or did not exist, it has been created for many years and it works very well, however, this source had some cables left over in this case, the SATA cable and I had them placed on one side of the Case, but a SATA cable made contact with the can of my Case I have a rather old aluminum Case but it does its job, I always tend to arrange the cables and they were well arranged but I don't know how it happened that it made contact with the case and produced a spark that gave a short circuit in the computer. It's strange because I always turned it on and this had never happened but hey it happened, thank goodness I was present because sometimes I usually like to leave my computer on and I don't know why the spark occurred, the PC was well placed, nobody moved it or anything.
Sinceramente me asusté bastante y automáticamente desprendí el cable de corriente de la fuente de poder al revisar y como pueden ver en la primera foto, hizo un chispazo fuerte que casi agarra candela el case se llenó de humo negro.
Honestly, I was quite scared and automatically detached the power cable from the power source when checking and as you can see in the first photo, it made a strong spark that almost caught fire, the case filled with black smoke.
Luego de revisar bien qué fue lo que sucedió, trate de aislar ese cable a un lado pero la fuente no encendida, estaba como en corto los que hice fue cortar la punta de ese cable SATA y aislar las puntas de los cables para que esto no volviera a suceder le coloqué cinta aislante a cada 1 de los puntos SATA incluso a todos los cables que me sobraban amarré muy bien todo, lo volví a colocar por eso creo que le puedo ocurrir a cualquiera y hay que estar muy pendientes si sobran algunos cables debemos de recogerlos muy bien y no dejarlos suelto en ningún lado del computador para que esto no suceda para mí lo mejor es atarlo con cinta aislante que fue lo que yo hice, luego encendí mi PC y funciono un gran susto que espero no vuelva a pasar.
After reviewing well what happened, I tried to insulate that cable to one side but the source was not turned on, it was like a short, what I did was cut the end of that SATA cable and insulate the ends of the cables so that this would not happen again. I put insulating tape on each of the SATA points, including all the cables that were left over. nowhere on the computer so that this does not happen for me it is best to tie it with electrical tape, which is what I did, then I turned on my PC and it ran a big scare that I hope does not happen again.

Hola! Menos mal que al final todo quedó en un susto. A mí me ha dejado de funcionar la gráfica y no sé si es que se quemó o qué, yo la saco y la veo bien pero ni idea jajjaa. Ya no puedo ni jugar videojuegos así que a ver cuándo tengo dinero y tiempo para llevar el pc a arreglar y que me lo revisen 😂

Be grateful that there was the almost word there. I managed to burn down my motherboard, modem, mouse and keyboard years ago and no one knows how. Lucky me, the most expensive pieces, like the motherboard and the modem (there were no routers back then) were replaced for free and the keyboard and the mouse was not expensive.
Yes I was lucky that none of the components of my equipment suffered a really considerable damage, the only thing was that only that part of the sources was damaged and what I did was simply cut that Sata pin that I had left over

Menos mal que no le paso nada a tu ordenador, de verdad que es una experiencia malísima, pienso que lo que paso con tu ordenador fue que el viento producido por la tarjeta de video y por el electro ventilador pudo ocasionar que los cables se movieran e hicieran contacto con tú case, posiblemente haya sido esa la inconveniente, porque si mencionas que nadie la toco o algo por el estilo debió haber ha sido eso, o sino, como mencionas al tener el ordenador destapado es vulnerable al viendo que pueda entrar en tu zona de confort, a veces las cosas locas pasan y uno queda como medio pendejo al tratar de buscar lo que produjo "X" circunstancia.
Sí la verdad es que estoy medio pendejo buscando la causa de cómo se movió el cable y podría ser eso al viento porque no hay otra opción
Que bueno que reaccionaste rápido, pudo haber Sido una tragedia bastante costosa 😅
si mano casi me quedo sin pc
