Hey dear Hive friends, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well and your day was full of positive experiences! In my new post, I would like to go a little more into the Italian personality and hope you can expand your knowledge a little.

Here you can see pictures that I took years ago in Italy in the city of Pisa and present a monument to the physicist Ottaviano Fabrizio Mossotti (1791 - 1863). He was considered a relatively diverse personality and also dealt a lot with mathematics as well as astrology and he made huge achievements in the field of dielectric, which also describes an electrical substance with a low conductivity which can be a liquid or gas. His research in this area has also influenced the discovery of electromagnetic waves by James Clerk Maxwell (1831 - 1879) and in addition, his results also had a strong influence on neurological research of electricity on the human brain and his pioneering work in this area has set an important milestone in research. He studied in his early years in Pavia and after he had completed his studies, his first successes were already highly praised, but because of his libertarian attitude in some topics he had to change his country early and he decided to move to the Argentina to the capital Buenos Aires where he had begun to teach his knowledge at a university. During his time, he promoted many local projects there that focused on science or astrology and a few years later, when the political circumstances improved, he went back to Italy where he continued to work as a professor at a university and in the middle of the 19th century he went to Pisa where he accepted a new job as a professor of physics. He also played a role in the Italian War of Independence and in his later years he also decided to pursue a career as a politician and he became Senator of Italy in 1863. In Pisa, where he was a professor for a long time, this monument was erected in his honor and he has been really progressive in many areas and without him many things would probably not have been developed.
