You can see here some different artworks which I have created with the help of artificial intelligence and represent a sawmill which is a mill operates which operates with the power of water and the task was to saw wood. Before the invention of these mills, the wood still had to be laboriously sawn by hand and this achievement greatly simplified the work and the first traces of sawmills can probably be traced back to the third century to Asia Minor to Hierapolis in the territory of today's Turkey and the ancient Romans are considered inventors. In the Middle Ages during the 13th century, this technology flourished more and more and spread at an enormous pace and the employees had to bring the wood to the mill where it was processed by a metal saw blade and various technologies were already known. In addition to the use of hydropower, wind was also often used to operate these mills and settlements in the forest were mostly chosen as locations, which simplified the transport routes and due to the efficient way of working, the growing demand for wood as well as trade was revolutionized more and more. Until the industrial revolution in the 18th century, sawmills were still used and over time, most of them were demolished by more and more technical changes.
