You can see pictures of a plasma lamp here and additional I have created some animations with the help of artificial intelligence and in this post I would like to discuss what plasma is at all. Plasma is also considered the fourth aggregate state in physics and a aggregate state also refers to the physical state of a substance which depends on temperature or pressure and it is distinguished from three forms such as solid, liquid and gaseous and plasma is also an ionized gas and it can be found almost everywhere in the universe or nature. The word plasma is originally derived from the Greek and means as much as something formed and plasma has the properties that it is usually very hot and consist of molecules, electrons or atoms that move freely and interact with photons and it has a high electrical conductivity and is also influenced by magnetic fields. A good example of plasma that is created in nature are flashes which are generated by high voltages and are important for the formation and most of the perceptible matter in the universe consists of plasma and to artificially produce plasma you always need high voltages. Plasma is also very important from an industrial point of view and is used in many ways and is often used in the production of lights and it is also of great importance for other electronic areas of application and it is also used for the construction of ships or cars and it is also of great importance in the defense or pharmaceutical industry, to name just a few of the many areas of application. Also in the medical field, one often hears about plasma in connection with blood and it also defines the liquid part of the blood which makes up more than half of it and blood plasma itself consists of nutrients, water or hormones and the largest part of it is water.

Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about plasma! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens and created the others with AI!
