Subnautica: Below Zero. A new beginning.
I venture to new places across the waters with my eyes peeled for any sign of what could become a beautiful screenshot. This time I will not be sailing the seas of the Caribbean, but rather swimming in the icy depths of an unknown ocean located on an alien planet. These publications will be written as if it were a survival diary and I will do them embodying the protagonist in such a way that I will express my experiences in this new world.
My name is Robin Ayou and I arrived on planet 4546B in search of my sister or rather in search of what caused her death. When I say that I arrived on the planet, I actually mean that I crashed after a meteorite hit my shuttle and made me land abruptly in a place known as Sector Zero.
The area is completely covered with ice and that makes me think that the name of this place is due to the temperatures that should never be above 0º Celsius. The vegetation is almost null, except for a few types of plants that seem to survive here.
Looking closely, these plants, rather than surviving, seem to be frozen in time. Except for these ones that look like flowers, but are somewhat different. When I approach them, they turn around me and emit a strong heat that is perceptible to the human eye, as if it were an electric stove. It seems incredible to me that such a thing exists, but I am grateful for it, because my equipment would not allow me to survive the cold, since it is not designed for that.
I continue advancing towards the place where the locator indicates that the LifePod fell, which, as far as I can see, is in the ocean. I advance as far as the terrain allows me and I am perplexed by the view offered by the panorama. These icy landscapes remind me of images of the Earth's North or South Pole, places where only the strongest and most adaptive organisms are able to survive, which makes me wonder if I will be able to do so.
Faced with the threat of the cold and the feeling of insecurity I felt, I decided to jump into the sea to reach LifePod. To my surprise, the surface has nothing to do with the depths. In the water, everything is different: the weather, the landscape, the flora and fauna. It's as if I had been teleported to a different planet when I crossed the water.
I was amazed at what my eyes were seeing. I couldn't believe that after so much white I would see such a variety of colors and shapes around me. Unfortunately, it was not yet time to relax and explore, as my main objective was to find the LifePod.
After swimming for a while and advancing little by little towards the indicated place, I could make out in the distance what I had been looking for, which from now on I would call the base. Although it was not very big, at least it could guarantee me the necessary things to be able to survive on this unknown planet.
Before entering, I made sure that there was nothing behind me, waiting to attack me unawares, because I still had the feeling that something was watching me from a distance. This is due to some noises I heard while swimming, and if there are dangerous things in the ocean on Earth, I do not want to imagine in this alien ocean.
Inside the cockpit, I get up to speed on my situation and review what options for creating tools and resources I had to know what my chances were. Apparently, if I play my cards right, I can survive in this hostile world.
Without realizing it, time passed and it became night, so when I looked out the window of the base I could see that the landscape had changed a little. Everything was different, gloomy, but with a mysterious touch that invited to swim in the dark. Every plant and animal possessed bioluminescence and made the night view a carnival of colors. To say it was beautiful would be an understatement.
To be continued...

a very strong icy environment for life but I must admit it looks very cool, especially that strange heating flower that also looks like neon lights hahaha. the subamrine life I love how it looks so bright and the contrast it generates with the darkness under the water
I am truly fascinated with the beautiful underwater landscapes in this game. Thank you for commenting.
