At this meeting I would like to share macro photos of insects, the insect that I share this time is called Robber Fly, this is a type of cannibal insect that eats its own kind, it is called the Robber because of this, the Robber fly is an insect that belongs to the order Diptera, it is a large order that includes hundreds of thousands of species contained in it, this is the information I found when I tried to find out more about the types of insects that I shared this time.

Robber fly is a type of fly that has hair on its eyes, and also has a larger body than other types of flies, the more mature the hair of this insect will be thicker, that is one way to distinguish adult robber flies and young robber flies.

Another name or Latin name for the robber fly is Asilidae, this is the name I found when I tried to match the photos on the Google Lens feature. Well, okay friends, below are some photos that I took using a smartphone camera and the help of an external macro lens, hope you all enjoy them :

Here I will also share another photo of a Robberfly that is preoccupied with preying on other types of insects when it is standing on a small dry branch :

What he eats, here he tries to observe and thinks that what he is eating is a type of insect from a wasp, I try to specify the type of insect and it seems that it is a wasp with the Latin name Vespa affinis.

I also took a photo of Robber from behind, as seen in the image below, here you can see the wings of the robberfly which I share on this occasion :

Okay friends, maybe this is all I can explain about the types of insects that I share this time, actually I want to write more about this robber fly, but because of my lack of knowledge about them and I still have to keep learning to be able to describe more much more information in the next entry, and I really hope that you enjoy what I share today and in the future, don't forget to keep smiling today and every day.

"Thank You >_<"
