MONOMAD : ROBBER FLY - ASILIDAE (19 Photos)
On a dry branch among the forest thickets, when I was hunting for mushrooms and some objects that I could capture in the camera memory that I carried at the time, I suddenly saw a fly, and this fly doesn't look like it usually does. , it's big and this is the first time I saw it, when I tried to identify a photo that I had in the gallery to know another name for this fly until finally I found the name, the name of this fly is "Robber Fly".
I started to wonder why the fly that I shared this time is called a robber fly, until finally I tried to read some information on a Google search, and there of course I found the answer I wanted, it was explained that this fly is a type of insect that kills other insects, and he also doesn't hesitate to eat flies, he's like a cannibal who eats his own kind, that's the general information I got there. Well, below are some photos of robber flies that I will share to take part in the monomad challenge today, hope you enjoy it :
Let's also look at it from a different angle and a little further from the photos I shared above:
Here I also want to share some photos of the baby robber fly which I also found on a wooden branch not far from where I took the adult rober fly photo.
When viewed from behind an insect named Robber Fly it will look like in the two photos below :
Look at the size of the branch where this tool is located, very small isn't it?
Okay friends, this is all I can say in today's entry for our meeting, see you in my next post.
