There are millions of people around the world who practice meditation for one reason or another. Meditation tools have boomed in the last several years on the market and today you can find a wide range of apps and other programs that are marketed toward helping people get started on meditating and building that daily habit.
Why are people turning to meditation?
Surveys show that overall wellness and disease prevention is a top reason that people report trying meditation. Other reasons include improving energy, concentration, and more.
Many more people today are engaging in this practice and technology makes it easy for them to learn more about it from a variety of sources.
Just a few years ago some surveys suggested that about 15% or more of U.S. adults were engaging in meditation practices, with millions more around the world looking to do meditation as well.
This market has already grown into a multi-million dollar market, as well we see that more research is also being done by scientists to discover what potential benefits if any there might be.
