How big is the Web3 market?

There are a variety of projects that you can find in the Web3 space today, including games, search engines, social media spaces, and more.

This is what some might argue is a natural evolution taking place, the future of the internet and it is building a multi-trillion market along with it.

Some estimates have suggested that the Web3 market might be worth some 6 trillion or more.

For now though there is still limited knowledge of the difference, even with those who might have already experienced using some of those apps that are a part of the Web3 space.

Popularity is growing, especially with those who want to work on expanding this market. Crypto-related and other jobs in the Web3 space are some of the most in-demand positions in countries around the world today, with many of them being remote jobs too that offer a great deal of flexibility.

One previous survey by KuCoin found that about 60% of Indians were interested in exploring Web3 as a potential career option, developers around the world want to be involved with growing this market.

Considering that there are many who think this is the future of finance it is no surprise then why many people would want to get started now on contributing to the progress.

Despite the hype in recent years for Web3 there are others who have questioned if it is just a buzz word, and they've pondered what the impact of it all might be. Some developers have asserted that they aren't interested in NFTs, blockchain technology, and they want nothing to do with cryptocurrencies or the Web3 space. At least not right now. Maybe for some of them though that is going to change over time as the market continues to evolve and expand.

There might be hopes for a multi-trillion market and already it is estimated to be worth tens of billions. Web3 blockchain market revenue is expected to pass some 23 Billion within a few years, by 2028.
