Another Study Suggests Magic Mushrooms Might Be Beneficial For Depression

In the largest clinical trial to date to investigate psilocybin as a potential treatment for depression it looks like there is now new research that is again reaffirming what other studies have also suggested previously and that is the finding that magic mushrooms might be beneficial for depression.

The study discovered that magic mushrooms might help to relieve depression for some individuals. Other investigations have also discovered that magic mushrooms might be beneficial and could perform just as well as widely used antidepressants for depression.

Some research suggests that magic mushrooms might outperform common medication on the market today for depression.

This is something that researchers have been looking at and hinting at for years now and that is that magic mushrooms might provide some sort of value in this area.

It's estimated that millions of adults in the U.S. alone suffer from depression. And past research has found that antidepressant overdoses can kill despite contrary opinion and assumption that this might not be the case. Magic mushrooms could be one natural option to come to the market for individuals to make a choice on what might work best for them and their own unique case.

Some regions have moved to decriminalize magic mushrooms and other drugs and this could have a lot of potential for researchers and others to look into what value there might be there if any.

When an individual grows or uses mushrooms in this manner they aren't harming anyone else or their property, they are only involving themselves. When we see criminalization of mushrooms we see one more way that individual liberty is infringed upon and people are told what they can and cannot do with their bodies.

This criminalization of magic mushrooms is an arguable injustice that seems to slowly be on the reverse in some parts of the world today thanks to education, growing awareness, and support from advocates, researchers, medical professionals etc, and others who are pushing for change in that area.

Some researchers also say that magic mushrooms could help curb cigarette and alcohol addiction. There should be more research about this. If this is true, then magic mushrooms can help literally millions/billions of people.

Nature gives us so much and we enjoy so little. It's a pity that commercial interests hold back the advancement of medicine so much in so many ways.
