Gigabyte's new monitor aims for gamers' hearts with a 240Hz display

GIGABYTE’s new monitor has arrived with an OLED panel and impressive hardware and software features.

GIGABYTE has officially introduced a new 31.5-inch gaming monitor called the MO32U2. This monitor features a QD-OLED panel, 4K resolution, and a 240Hz refresh rate.

According to GIGABYTE, the MO32U2 monitor is certified with DisplayHDR True Black 400 and ClearMR 13000 to ensure excellent contrast and high clarity. The monitor has a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a response time of 0.03ms.

GIGABYTE’s latest monitor has a 10-bit display and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. The DeltaE value is stated to be less than 2, so that users can see accurate colors when working with the device. The brightness increases to 1000 nits in HDR mode.

FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync capabilities ensure that the MO32U2 displays images smoothly and without tearing. The new GIGABYTE monitor offers users two picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture image modes, and has two 5-watt speakers and a built-in KVM switch.

The MO32U2’s Tactical Switch 2.0 feature allows users to change the resolution to achieve higher frame rates.

Connectivity ports include two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.0 hub, a headphone jack, and a USB-C with DP Alt Mode support and 18W charging capability.

Users can adjust the height of the GIGABYTE MO32U2 monitor up to 130mm, and can also change the direction of rotation and tilt. The device weighs about 6kg without a stand. The VESA standard allows people to mount the monitor on a wall.

The release date and price of the new MO32U2 monitor are not yet known; But these details are expected to be announced in the near future.
