Hi there. In this post I give a review of the Lenovo Thinkplus HE05XX II Sports Headphones.

The Product & Photos

This product is worn like a necklace which makes it easier for listening while walking, running or doing a workout. These sports headphones are also wireless via Bluetooth. No need to connect this to a phones headphone jack.

 

Although there is a thick part in the headphones band, I found them to be light and not that noticeable when you wear this around your neck. Some may find the thin wire connecting to the earbuds to be short. I found it to be okay.

The default size earbuds pads was a bit big for my ears. They provide additional earbud pads of a smaller size or a larger size. I went with a smaller size so the earbuds would be snug in my ears.

 

Using The Product

You wear this product around your neck like a necklace. Then you turn on your phone or device's Bluetooth.

Turning on the device requires you to press down the on/off button that is between the + and - volume buttons. This on/off button is indicated by a single dot. You do have to press down for a good 3 to 5 seconds until you hear a sound from these headphones.

My slight issue with this is that it may take more than one try to turn this on. Check your device to make sure the sound is from the headphones and not accidentally from your phone in public spaces.

 

Charging

Near the Lenovo text, there is a flap you can open. Connect the USB type-C charger to a USB port to charge your device. According to this website, the charging time is 2 hours with a call time of 5 to 6 hours.

 

Conclusion

I like these headphones a lot. These are my regular headphones when I'm travelling around. My only issue is turning it on as it takes time and you may have do more than one attempt.

I got mine from Temu. You can find some good stuff from Temu including this product. Around October 14 2025, the price of this was 8.77 CAD. This item is discontinued now. You could probably find these at some other vendors. Pricing may differ.

My Rating: 8.5 out of 10. Very good for the price but not perfect.
