In My Head…

In movies, we see holograms talk and walk. We also see gadgets on the wrist that that could perform very complex tasks. We see flying cars and witness buildings shrouded in technical details. It all seems so believable.

Months ago (almost a year actually), I came across the A.I pin by Humane, and it was such a tiny piece that could perform tasks out of the world. At least that was how it was presented. I remember thinking, “the world is changing fast”.

I also remember reading a report or something about a chip or something of that sort that could be placed in humans to enhance human DNA and make them somewhat of a superhero. I don’t think it was received that well but then I would later come across a movie about it (and I can’t remember the name).

Honestly, I haven’t used any technology that is futuristic in my opinion or something that blew my mind. Well, if you want to count Virtual Reality, then be my guest.

I have seen so many technology projects in movies that could be brought to life, and I have imagined what technology like that could be do if it is developed.

Anyone who knows me knows I have a very active imagination. I am always dreaming about something especially as I walk or just even lay down. It’s always whirring and cooking up ideas both realistic and unrealistic. I always filter but what stands is, I have imagined something.

For a story I wrote more than two years ago, a sci-fi, I had to build a world in my imagination. Not easy but it was necessary. In my mind, there was a building made entirely of glass and that glass could shape into anything. Much like the Transformers. It also had the ability to go invisible at the call of a person.

This world was a dark place and there was no rain. However, there were men with the strength of an army, children with wires latched on them as they were built not born, and women with abilities not physically possible.

In that world, there were no cars. Just war tanks because humans could teleport, and run at dashing speed. Those who ran are the less privileged and the poor. Teleportation was for the rich. In that world, the 1 percent of the population on Earth had left and gone to occupy Mars, just as the earth was reduced to rubble. In that world, there was nothing like choice.

Anyway, that was what the story was based on. I never published it. But that was what I had imagined about what earth could be like with technology. Now, this was just for a story I was cooking not how I see the world turning out later although, from the looks of things, that would have been better than the useless propaganda shoved down our throats today.

In conclusion, that’s the farthest I have gone in imagining technology. I don’t excel in that aspect, I’m mostly cooking up other things in my head that has to do with helping people and changing lives.

As long as you're not looking for ways to end the world then it's finee😂. We all have our own roles to play anyway, everyone's different
