Nice weekend || Looking for quality furniture materials in the forest

I want to start this morning by writing a post by telling about my activities at the weekend with friends, I think I should do it because this activity is very fun and worth the experience for me, so yesterday I didn't go on a weekend vacation with my loved ones in life, but I chose to go to the forest with friends hoping to find good wild trees to make boards and beams for household furniture.

After enjoying a cup of Arabica coffee in the morning, our enthusiasm grew and at around 08.30 we started traveling to look for a good tree so that it could be used as high quality household furniture, and finally we found one that suited our wishes, a tree with a height It reaches 20 meters and we estimate the age of the tree to be 70 years and this is very good for household furniture.

OMG, I have to tell you!! It turned out that there were a lot of red ants and mosquitoes in the forest, we were almost at our wits' end trying to get rid of them. Last year when we went to the forest we always brought a supply of anti-mosquito lotion, but yesterday we forgot to bring the lotion, and we only relied on a small torch. we made it from dry leaves to repel them, and thankfully the mosquitoes and red ants slowly left thanks to the small torch that we made, so I want to say to you "if you travel to the forest then don't forget to bring a stock of anti-mosquito lotion "You will suffer a lot if you don't have a good alternative to repel mosquitoes and red ants.

After a while the mosquitoes and red ants slowly left, our friends started cutting down trees more than 20 meters high using a chainsaw, the sound of the machine echoed in the forest, changing the natural atmosphere from quiet to boisterous again.

The tree has been successfully cut down, the tree trunk looks maroon in color and our hearts are happy because this tree is very good for household furniture.

We started measuring the tree trunk to make a basic block measuring 4.80 meters so that it would be easy to print the board at the next stage.

After measuring and according to the required size, namely 4.80 meters, now my friend starts to split the block into several parts, and this is very important and can only be done by someone who is very experienced, only by relying on instinct to split the tree trunk and must make sure the chainsaw cuts it straight, if there is even the slightest mistake everything will fall apart, and I really believe in my friend's abilities and in the end he succeeded in making the block split into several parts.

After my professional friend split the block very straight, now our job is to measure the block to print the board, this is the traditional method that we still do to this day, we pull the thread that has been coated with paint and we leave a ruler mark on the block so that my friend was able to print the board immediately.

we have succeeded in printing several sheets of boards from the first block, as you can see in the picture that all of our boards have a whitish red color, and this is a very special color for household furniture hunters, in our city this color is often identified as a tree of such high quality that it places it in a certain position in the hearts of craftsmen and household furniture lovers.

So it can be understood that this weekend is very valuable for me because I have the opportunity to breathe fresh air and explore the natural beauty of the forest. I decided to go to the forest with my friend to look for high quality trees to make household furniture. However, it is also important to understand that this activity is not only limited to looking for material sources that have economic value, but also gives me the opportunity to connect myself with the universe and understand the value of every tree there.

after several days I planned to do this trip and a beautiful weekend had made our hopes come true, upon arrival in the forest I was immediately enchanted by the natural beauty and the sound of the river flowing in the distance, I have to be honest with you that this is the first time I have enjoyed a weekend in forest by carrying out the activity of printing boards from high quality trees, and it is also important to understand that the trees we have cut down are permitted by the government because they are not included in the protected tree species, so we are not doing anything illegal.

the first step I took yesterday was to choose the right tree, I walked very slowly on the hiking trail, paying close attention to every tree I passed, I looked for trees that had strong wood grain and were well maintained, when I found one that according to my criteria, but once again I have to carefully observe the condition of the tree and the damage to the surrounding nature which will be damaged when we cut down the tree, so that we can do it according to existing norms, so that we are not considered individuals who have violated the law because of the damage. nature, and grateful that everything went smoothly and according to our expectations, the trees were of very good quality and there was no damage to the surrounding nature.

After we got several sheets which we divided evenly, we returned home and I couldn't wait to start working on my furniture project, of course this was because of the encouragement and confidence that the wood I had just gotten from the forest would get an extraordinary final result. ordinary and gives a unique natural touch to every corner of my house, every piece of wood will bring a natural story and peace in every carving I will make.
