Fungi Friday || I found white fungus has 99% similarity to lingzhi

This post I prepared some beautiful mushrooms to be displayed in the #FungiFriday Community organized by @ewkaw today

in my hunt today I found white mushrooms, these mushrooms are similar to Lingzhi mushrooms because the mushroom leaves are hard, but I dare say that this is not Lingzhi because I picked some mushrooms and smelled them, and I got a very different aroma from Lingzhi mushrooms , apart from that, this mushroom is my first discovery since my career in hunting mushrooms both for consumption and for content.

If you look at it at a glance, this mushroom has a 99% similarity to the Lingzhi mushroom, both the size of the mushroom leaf and its shape, it has the same similarity, but what differentiates the two is the aroma of the mushroom and the thickness of the mushroom leaves, the leaves of this mushroom are thinner when compared to the leaves Lingzhi mushroom, apart from that the mushroom leaves also have a soft taste with a soft taste which is something that is not found in Lingzhi mushrooms, apart from that the way this mushroom grows can also be said to be very unique, you can see in the last picture, this mushroom grows naturally simultaneously along the tree trunk like the way oyster mushrooms grow.

I found this fungus growing on one of the rotting tamarind stems, this fungus grows through the cracks in the bark of the tamarind stem, if you look at it at a glance you might say that this fungus grows on the skin, that's not true, you're wrong , this fungus grows from the core of the stem through the cracks in the bark, but it is not certain because I did not observe the growth process over time, but if I can assume then I can conclude the fact that "this fungus first grows through the cracks skin, after the mushroom matures, the mushroom stem closes all the gaps as if it were growing on the bark", perhaps this is the only assumption I can express for the mushroom I discovered today.

Please pay close attention and you will find the uniqueness that these mushrooms grow in pairs, this is different from other mushrooms in general.

even though these mushrooms grow simultaneously and close together, these mushrooms still maintain a pair position, look carefully that these mushrooms have their own partners, even though they grow without distance.

These mushrooms have the same growth pattern, namely accompanying one mushroom with another.

When viewed from the side, this mushroom shows another beauty, this mushroom looks like a dinner plate.

and this is the meaning of my statement at the beginning of the post that these mushrooms grow parallel.

today's discovery of white mushrooms has been a new experience for me because this is the first time I have found mushrooms with this color, I don't know anywhere else, but this is a first for me, and this mushroom has attracted my interest in studying it, I have thoughts that tomorrow I will go back there to get some general knowledge about this mushroom, yeah of course I hope everything goes smoothly as expected.
