From Slides to Cleats

On Monday I was talking about AI and aquaculture on stage.
Yesterday I traveled to uyo, Akwa Ibom state to be with my family and friends and today, I’m in the field running on grass with friends to do some leg works in the game of football

.

I love that research life, after I pour into big ideas, then I pour into people. Playing football this morning reminded me why community matters. We strategize on the pitch the same way we strategize for food security, teamwork, vision, and a little bit of hustle.

I'm grateful for safe arrival and good company, team work always.

And yes, I win on arrival which means uyo, Akwa Ibom state welcomes the son of the soil properly.

It was a perfect Wednesday morning here. The research brain and football legs combo is undefeated

I provided one assist and my team scored 3 goals in total and the score line was 3 : 1 in my team's favor.

After the match, we went to the club house for the chop chop and Wong wong. Some cartons of non alcoholic beverages were emptied while a pot of freshly cooked catfish was down as well.

My day is going well.
