Water Fall

IMG_20240617_135832_Original.jpeg

A mountain hiking experience just isn’t complete without a water fall or something close to it. This was our water fall. Otherwise known as run off from Hourglass Lake, and surrounding area. This was water fall number two for the day. The first one was Meachen falls, which was, compared to this one, quite a bit taller. Two water falls in one day? Score. Probably the best water fall experience would have to be Takakkaw Falls (of course Niagara Falls would be the best of the best), located north of here, in Yoho National park. If you ever find yourself in the Yoho/Banff park area, due pay a visit here. It is quite popular, so get there early if you can.

I'm in love with the photos you've captured. As well as the waterfalls— they look bewitching, although I've never seen one in real life.

Water is just gushing out and coming in full flow. So pure like snow. Coming from afar should be a spectacular scene. Excellent photography.

The shots are amazing, the black and white looks like a view from a post-apocalyptic film.

Nice ones, I did a hike with two mini waterfalls and one that was bigger. Those shots will come some day. Thanks for sharing your awesome shots and journeys. Have a blessed one my friend.

I love a nice waterfall, it would be hard to see had the fire not burned out those trees. Cool contrast in the black and whites, especially with the burnt trees.

Niagara falls is hard to beat, just so much water per second flowing over the falls. It's a cool place!

It is interesting to see how nature works. I wonder how long those fallen trees have been there by the falls.
