mild pushback on the Einstein part though. GPS satellites have to correct for relativity every single day or your position drifts by kilometers, so his work gets used constantly even if nobody notices it

That's the story, but it is not an accurate story.
There is a far better explanation and it doesn't involve relativity.
And NASA isn't adjusting the Voyager signals for relativity, and it is flying much faster (so says NASA)
