Back in the Steem days I think I only ever posted on steemit. For at least part of that time, I was using some image server that has since bit the dust. Steemit still has them cached but when they were forked to hive they were lost. Lately, i've been creating an index of all of my posts to make it easier for me to find stuff and fixing the images on the hive side of things as I go.

These blockchains are immutable (until the power is switched off!), especially the image hosting. Some of my very early ones may well have been hosted on the STEEM image servers, but I can get them back.
