Una reparación necesaria padeciendo covid [SPA/ENG]

Escribir un post nunca fue tan difícil, mi familia y yo hemos estado padeciendo del covid y a pesar de la vacuna, los síntomas son duros, concentrarme en la pantalla hace que me duelan los ojo. Lo mas difícil de todo es que los 4 miembros de la familia lo estamos sufriendo, eso implica exámenes por 4, tratamiento por 4, y con un solo nebulizador en casa el tratamiento se hace muy largo.

A necessary repair suffering from covid

The hardest thing of all is that all 4 members of the family are suffering from it, that implies exams for 4, treatment for 4, and with only one nebulizer at home the treatment becomes very long.

Recordé que un nebulizador de mis padres una vez se cayo y dejo de funcionar, como tenemos uno adicional, no necesitaba el que se cayo, por eso jamás revise porque no encendia, pero ahora tener dos nebulizadores seria de gran ayuda, me propuse entonces en medio del malestar intentar repararlo.

I remembered that a nebulizer of my parents once fell and stopped working, as we have an additional one, I did not need the one that fell, so I never checked why it did not turn on, but now having two nebulizers would be a great help, so I decided to try to repair it in the midst of the discomfort.

Cuando lo abrí lo primero que pensé fue ¡dios mío esto se ve difícil! Preguntándome ¿que puede estar dañado aqui? Se ve tan robusto que la verdad no entendía porque no encendía. No cuenta con ningún elemento de protección como un fusible o térmico que se dispare ante una sobrecarga eléctrica, la conexión es directa de la alimentación de voltaje a el interruptor y luego al embobinado del motor.

When I opened it the first thing I thought was my god this looks hard! Wondering what could be wrong here? It looks so sturdy that I really didn't understand why it wouldn't turn on. It does not have any protection element such as a fuse or thermal that would trip in the event of an electrical overload, the connection is direct from the power supply to the switch and then to the motor winding.

Ya estaba a punto de desarmarlo por completo cuando se me ocurrió probar el interruptor de encendido, quite los cables y con el multímetro probe si había continuidad al colocarlo en posición de encendido, para mi asombro no había continuidad, es decir, no llegaba el voltaje al transformador.

I was about to disassemble it completely when it occurred to me to test the ignition switch, remove the wires and with the multimeter test if there was continuity when placed in the on position, to my astonishment there was no continuity, ie, no voltage to the transformer.

Probe colocando los cables de alimentación eléctrica directo al transformador y al enchufarlo encendió, no se imaginan el gran alivio- que sentí, que fuera algo tan sencillo, y que también otras partes no estuvieran dañadas y soplara aire. Por ahora lo usaremos así, encendiendolo al enchufarlo, pero nos ahorra tiempo en nuestro tratamiento.

I tried placing the power supply wires directly to the transformer and when I plugged it in it turned on, you can't imagine how relieved I was that it was so simple, and also that other parts were not damaged and it was blowing air. For now we will use it this way, turning it on when plugged in, but it saves us time in our treatment.
