Layout with Adobe InDesign [ENG/SPA]
What's up community, it's been a while since I've told you about my progress in the design course I've been taking. So far in April I have been learning how to use Adobe InDesign and the truth it has been very easy after accumulating experience in Photoshop and Illustrator, otherwise it would not be so. The last thing I did in Illustrator was a brand manual which I will show you later because it was very good and it is something I want to develop better, for now I show you what I did in InDesign.

Que tal comunidad, hace tiempo que no les cuento cuales han sido mis avances en el curso que llevo de diseño. Todo lo que va el mes de abril he estado aprendiendo como utilizar Adobe InDesign y la verdad que ha sido muy sencillo luego de acumular experiencia en Photoshop e Illustrator, de lo contrario no seria asi. Lo ultimo que realiza en Illustrator fue un manual de marca el cual les mostrare mas adelante porque quedo muy bien y es algo que quiero desarrollar mejor, por lo momentos les muestro lo que hice en InDesign.
I think the best way to describe this program would be like working in Microsoft Word but on steroids, because you literally lose yourself in diagramming anything to create magazines, brochures, flyers, books, brochures that are interactive to a level that depends on your imagination and skill.
Creo que la mejor manera de describir este programa sería como trabaja en un Microsoft Word pero con esteroides, porque pierdes literalmente diagramar lo que sea para crear revistas, brochures, flyers, libros, folletos que sean interactivos a un nivel que depende de tu imaginación y destreza.
It´s perfect for creating interactive PDF for institutions where staff must be trained or for students to develop interactive tasks, even exams and the results are sent to a database, but as for me and what I can do, I have practiced with formats for magazines and brochures, the truth is that I have put more effort in the two previous programs.
Es perfecto para crear PDF interactivo para instituciones donde se deba capacitar personal o para que alumnos puedan desarrollar tareas interactivas, incluso exámenes y que los resultados sean enviados a una base de datos, pero en lo que respeta a mi y lo que se hacer, he practicado con formatos para revistas y brochures, la verdad he puesto mas empeño en los dos programas anteriores.
The experience with this program has been very intuitive for me, because layout is something you are familiar with when you blog in Hive, but you take it to another level, you can even develop corporate identity documents together with a group of other designers and all perform periodic reviews of the progress and make corrections and annotations together.
La experiencia con este programa ha sido muy intuitiva para mi, porque maquetar es algo con lo cual estás familiarizado cuando blogueas en Hive, pero lo llevas a otro nivel, incluso puedes llegar a desarrollar documentos de identidad corporativa junto a un grupo de otros diseñadores y todos realizar revisiones periódicas de los avances y hacer correcciones y anotaciones en conjunto.
At the beginning I didn't have much faith in the program, I said to myself, what good is it if we are in the digital era? What a surprise I got, even the consumption of printed material or layout to be an online book is high, there are many who read daily and it is necessary that there are designers with the ability to harmonize the visual with the written to give the maximum experience to those who still enjoy reading.
Al principio no le tenía mucha fe al programa, me decía ¿de que sirve si estamos en la era digital? Vaya sorpresa me lleve, aun el consumo de material impreso o maquetado para ser libro en linea es alto, son muchos los que leen a diario y es necesario que existan diseñadores con las capacidades de armonizar lo visual con lo escrito para dar la maxima experiencia a quienes aún disfrutan de la lectura.
