What is coming??
The fast pace at which things happen is keeping people on their toes. Have you ever wished you could do everything at once? Of course it's just a wish because in actuality you can't and this is where opportunity is always presented for others. We have seen a technological rally in the last two decades and it seems things are yet to even settle. Competition is increasing with top tech industries trying to rival off oppositions. Elon Musk has really made the industry bubble considering his plans to create affordable technology.
This has been the aim of Tesla, we have seen transport out of space drop drastically in price with the automobile industry also facing panics. Tesla plans to release self-driving cars as taxes with a price affordable is a threat to others in the field. I read a headline that three if not four top automobile industries in Asia are planning to merge just to combat upcoming competition. When this happens, I guess it's the end users that mostly enjoy the show. Without competition we wouldn't know how much hype can be uncovered.
So this shows a lot of things can be affordable or should I say were affordable but weren't made to look so. I feel this is an economic norm, milk the system while you can. This is gradually evolving, maybe they knew what was coming? We are moving into a world of affordability. The introduction of the internet was an eye opener although for years it has lingered in the hands of centralized agents who actually are still in operation. Nevertheless, there has been a mitigation.

How many of us have physical lands in actuality? This number cannot be compared to those who have virtual ones. How many of us own physical shops, offices or outlets? The number cannot be compared also to those who own this in an online space. Of course, your social media account is both a land and an office. The current challenge presently is who actually owns your accounts. This has been the fight or should I say a professional debate between web2 and web3 for true ownership.
In the meantime keep enjoying your accounts with crossed fingers hoping these web2 guys continue to understand with you. That was by the way. The advancement in technology has brought about flexibility and where flexibility thrives, cost is likely to be affected. Take for instance, calculate many years back into the photography industry. How it was both difficult and expensive to get a photograph. What can we say about that today? I can even pause what I am doing right now and take a selfie for free.
These things will keep replicating until it fills the entire industry or most of it to be more precise. The banking industry has been hit, who knew one could transaction in a few seconds globally without that '2-3 business days' rules. Both stress and cost has been mitigated in the process. The emergence of cryptocurrency was a birth of an era which many of us took for granted. As I said, the advantage remains flexibility, this is the more reason AI will scale too.

Before getting to AI, blockchain technology already prepared the ground for easy living. Could one believe a text message will soon be recorded as a transaction. What does this entail? It means every activity can well be documented courtesy of the immutable nature of activities happening on chain. There has indeed been a transition and from my views, more is coming. All these new technologies are in their baby phases.
Looking ten years into the future, we can start imagining how groundbreaking artificial intelligence will be. Consider the tons of online activities and transactions that will be handled by AI agents, in the reverse it means it will be cheap since a single AI agent is multifunctional. Imagine what millions of such agents will do. I know there are critics that this will end jobs and render many useless. To end some jobs it will but in the process, it will open doors for new opportunities. Those who will be rendered useless are only the ones ignorant of change.
To conclude, let me add, you can't stop technology, man quest to know more will continue to push us to experience something better or perhaps dislocating too. At some point this may seem as greed or lack of contentment. Nevertheless, we have to also admit we were created by a creative creator. My view of technology is always how it can positively affect lives. We have seen many come out of poverty during the introduction of the internet, crypto and global investment. The economy is trying to take a new shape by creating an environment with plenty. What this entails is this, there is a probability of affordability only if man's greed will permit.
