Ending Internet boredom

source

Is the Internet becoming boring in any way? With over 120 zettabytes of data making up the internet (1 zettabyte is equivalent to 1 trillion gigabytes) and over 1.1 billion websites worldwide you could say the internet is becoming very interesting. Yet we need to look much deeper to how too much can become much of a distraction. Let's take for instance, how difficult would it be for you to choose between two things? How about five or let's also extend to ten. From here we can conclude that the more the items for choice, the more the difficulty and time wasting. Time has become so precious these days and requires proper management.

How do you always find answers from internet searches? From the most renowned search engine like Google you are always given that long list of preferable websites perhaps from their TOP ranked. There is always an inability to access that information properly from the first page as it suggested websites show only a glance of what it has to offer. I don't know for you but for me this has been very boring. Having to move from site to site to get accurate information is a big time eater and as I have earlier said, time is too precious. Have you also always considered the images and videos that make up the collection? You are not just so sure of where to focus. You may feel I am or we are easily distracted but we need to admit the eyes will always feast even for a few seconds and that counts.

Ads are distractions

Those poppers are really boring, how I hate to lose concentration when I am trying to be straight to the point. It's one of the reasons I don't like branching so many websites. The moment I just see a blink blink everywhere, I am forced to reverse, the only thing I regret is the time wasted. I know sites owners are trying to make their bucks anyway; nevertheless, some don't know how to fancy it and get proper attention, you can make it more presentable. As the internet continues to grow, curbing these irrelevances is becoming very necessary. So, the next question is; has this sector been looked into?

The rise of AI

We are seeing the rise of AI searches and this is already disrupting the search engine industry. This brings the question of, 'will Google search soon lose attention?' Or should I say has the attention losing already began?. Many of us are using platforms like Open AI's GPT to do a lot of research. We are already seeing the difference when it comes to distraction curbing. Getting answers just the intended way saves us a lot of hassle. We are ALL looking for internet privacy and exception of security, privacy entails not being tossed around. Everyone wants to own his internet space and decisions, if I don't want something don't flaunt it at my face.

The challenge or AI search is the current flaws of not trustworthy data results. Although this is likely to happen once in a while, it's worth the concerns. We are seeing the rise of LLM's and with more data being fed into this new 'data beast', we can say these flaws will soon meet its end as demands continue to rise. As we speak, Google is still trying to retain its position when it comes to search queries. The development of Google Gemini is termed to be 'the next generation AI model'. You can't really doubt what google can do, this is a tech Giant that has surpassed expectations in the past two decades. Can Gemini rival out Open AI's chat GPT-4? My main concern remains the growth of a non-distracting web search.

technology is making a fast move, with over 60% of the human population having internet exposure, I feel it will be more jam packed than ever. Scrolling the internet from tradittional search engines has and will continue to become boring. Search engines lack interaction and a sense of human near understanding if I must say. Yes, there is a rise of images and videos incorporation in AI searches yet the difference from traditional search still remains very clear. I must say that open AI was very smart to make these early moves. Although they've been criticized for data breaching it has been a 'where was I' by big techs like Google. Those who understand trends pick it early and I am a little surprised Google were not the ones heading this Evolution.

To conclude, let me add, the rise of AI search will indeed end internet boredom. Finding what you need on the internet just the way you need it will improve internet presence. This has been a long awaited evolution that has surfaced although in its short period of time for now, without doubts we are already feeling the impact. It will disrupt, of course that's what technology does yet the fact remains, companies who know how to blend with changes will evolve in the process to find a non-ending opportunities.
