Could our children be the future AI?

We cannot doubt the advent advancement in technology, while AI offers unprecedented opportunities for children's education and development, there is a huge share of challenges that comes with it. How easy parents hand over tech gadgets to children just to give them the needed free time to do whatever they feel is necessary. Don't mistaken me, I know there is a lot of stress and inconveniences involved in raising children. You know they can make your whole day very hectic.

This is where technology has stepped in to provide some breathing space for parents. Yet I must say, some parents have demanded more than just breathing space, more like handing over the whole child training system to technology. I was discussing artificial pets in my last article, robotic pets will create human-animal barriers, do well to check out, your comments are well valued. That said, let's run back to how children seems the possible artificial intelligence.

What do parent mostly buy for children this days? In those days it was toys they could play with. The action was more of one sided, you know 'the children played with the toys' and the toys had nothing to give back in return. More of one side having the control, order and authorities. They actually learned nothing nor took commands or suggestions from toys, it was by then non-programmed. The field of game has gradually been changing, the introduction of video games brought about some forms of control though limited commands were exhibited through this technology. Taking the children's mindset from open field play to child-technology interaction.

Why should I be playing football with friends when I could enjoy my video game indoors. All that is needed is pulling some strings with fingers and the game is on. Parents seemed to have given the needed solution to their children who could enjoy hours of gaming. We have seen lots of advancement in gaming that keeps drawing away real world interaction programs from children. Gaming seems a little conducive, how about the introduction of mobile phones, not just phones as per say but smart phones. The way parents give out phones to their children is worth considering. The interaction process has changed more of technology able to give out suggestions to the children.

There has been a privacy breach

The moment computers start giving out suggestions, there is no doubt that there has been a breach in privacy. Suggestions are one of the easy ways to have some form of control over someone or somethings. They are directly learning from computers and applying this needed suggestions. Don't know if you are surprised why lots of children behave in such a cloned manner. They in the process venture into the internet world to have access into diverse informations much of which are very corruptible.

Think of a child who grew up to adulthood and has completely been overfed by the Internet or AI activities within the technology in which he is centered. There is no telling me, just like transferring a software from one robot to another, the same is displayed here. I even feel some effects of technology within me, if my phone probably runs low or has issues, the discomfort I have within such moment is worth considering. I didn't actually grow up with the mobile, I only entered the system at some stage in my life and it seems I am feeling some kind of technology cage, what then with one that grew up in it?

Reduced Social interaction

We have seen how it has deterred real time relationships. Everything is now done in the virtual presence. We are upgrading to the 5G stage, technology continues to sweep in. A lot of our children lack proper interaction with other children. When I see a child behave strangely in the midst of other children I know it is mostly because of his day to day interaction processes. There are surrounded by technology that they fail to realize that humans are very real. I see a future when children won't have to be going to school to learn anything.

Robotics powered AI's will set in to teach and educate children on everything. It will be children being completely absent from the real life activities which will deter their emotions. Humans train children to be human right? What do you think robotic AI's will train children to become? AI off course. You may say they'll know a lot but they will only know this a lot to remain artificial. There is a need for early intervention to strike a balance between harnessing the benefits and mitigating the risks which requires collaborative efforts from parents, educators, policymakers, and technology developers.

If there will ever be responsible AI use, clear guidelines, and open communication can pave the way for a positive and constructive impact on our children's future in an increasingly AI-driven world. I see a world where humans made robots and in turn robots cloned humans. It may not really affect this generation but the second generation from now may not escape it. We have seen the fast pace at which technology is moving. This overreliance on AI for learning and entertainment will also hinder the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. So everything will be solved the computing ways, no emotions attached to things which is what truly differentiate the natural being.

To conclude let me add, I keep on saying that technology may push man to forget his source. We were meant to be giving out the orders yet advancement is gradually shifting controls to metals that we've invented to leave around us. We may not fully feel it effect now but I see the upcoming generation leaving in a fully submerged Artificial intelligence system. Cloned humans may be feeling the universe assuming they know a lot yet will lack most of their natural capabilities. Take a look at your very self and you will definitely understand from the angle I am coming from. Parent need to keep a careful watch on technological exposure given to children if we wish to salvage couple of generations if I may say or the future generation of human may be AI manbots.
