Why does this product exist❓

Today I wanted to talk about one of the oddest things I've seen in the tech world. It's a pair of headphones made by the vacuum cleaner company Dyson. These aren't just any headphones though, but air-purifying headphones. I'm not so sure they actually do anything much more than play sound though. It seems that the purification part is just a gimmick. Keep in mind, these things cost $950!

In today's video, I will discuss why you 100% should not fall for the marketing of these headphones. They seem like a total waste of money, for reasons which I will mention in the video.

Check out the complete product information:

I've linked a few YouTube videos about the Dyson Zone:

Everything that came to marker has some of its influence either bad or good impacts on our society. Today we all going from very advanced technological field. May be this company made it for some beneficial aspects.

It is my first time to hear about this headphone with air-purifier. I guess they are trying something new.

It's definitely new, but that doesn't mean it's good.

Well, I wont be buying one anytime soon... We have pretty clean air here in South Africa.

BUT this might be a game changer for heavy populated places such as China where the air pollution is much higher... But do they have filters that can be removed and replaced or what? Because filtering air would surely cause some gankyness in some place if you understand what I'm trying to say... Much like a car's air filter.

Yes they have filters. It comes with two pairs of filters. I believe they are said to last at least a year, sometimes two years depending on how much you use the purifying feature.

You always find something weird there, bro @daltono.
I call it the "frustrating marketing technique.", Would anyone be tempted to have it out there?
I think the only reason someone would want to own one is out of curiosity about the product. !LOL

I stay on the hunt for weird things. Plus my personal algorithm knows to show me odd things such as this.
I'm curious, but I'm not buying. If I win a pair, awesome!

It's pretty crazy that something like this exists. For rich people only pretty much.

Hahah well props to them for manipulating markets and getting people to fall for the BS. I don’t have a lot against them for trying, but people are going to be mad about it. It’s free market ideas that are more important, let us put out there how stupid these things are. I’d never buy those foolish things but I know there’s plenty who will.

I certainly do not have a problem with a product like this existing, however, I feel sorry for anybody who actually spends $1k on this.

Hard pass for me on these over-priced things. I'm not even sure these would fit that guys big ass ears.

The way we see that technology has advanced a lot and such products can be used a lot in countries where pollution is high like Pakistan. There are many armed issues.

I would like to see a comparison between how well these work in rural areas versus highly polluted urban areas.

I'm on it man, that thing has me so hyped. As of right now, I can't afford such a large purchase, it would not be wise. I'm hoping crypto is pumping again by the time it releases so that I can buy one.

💪😎yea, i am waiting for some HBD that I took out of savings, then I'm gonna get me some more HIVE.

I think it's a real good start.. from apple.. they, and the other manufacturers will develop more and better (as in sleeker and cheaper) in the future.

:)

Now seems like a good time to do that.

Apple has my full support and has since 2007 when I got the first iPhone and fell in love.
