Robots will replace product promoters and info personel?

Hello Hivers!

The weekend is almost over soon and so it's time to get things ready for the coming work week. I didn't do much today other than a long rest because I have been feeling ill since last night. I think I'm going to be well soon, I just need more rest, healthy food, and a few more flu pills.

After having a good rest, I went to the shopping mall to buy some snacks because I easily feel hungry whenever I'm not feeling well. It's a 10-minute slow walk so it should be fine. When I reach the entrance of the mall, I notice that there's a moving mechanical thing across the mall corridor. It looks like an autonomous machine and so I presume that it's considered as a robot.

What it does is announce something about the new development that will happen in our district. It also holds some flyers and brochures which anyone is free to take in case they want to learn more about this new development. It doesn't seem to be able to answer queries because it keeps on talking through the screen and its speakers.

I think this a kind of cool considering that it is moving on its own. The ability of this machine to move and be able to pass through the crowd is amazing!

I was entertained by this robot and thought that someday these machines or robots would be able to do the jobs of a product promoter and potentially the info booth. I think that in less than a decade, more realistic robot personnel will be able to do those jobs effortlessly.

Going back to my first intent why I went to the mall was to get myself this nice bread. It has 3 flavors which are pandan, chocolate, and egg custard. These are all sweet and a bit chewy which makes me feel like I'm eating a delicacy.
