Happy Weekend Hivers!

Let's live a sustainable healthy lifestyle. There were a lot of questions about it in my mind. I can't seem to figure out how we make it happen. All of the doubts and questions were answered as soon as I saw the solution created by Singrass. They created a space-saving indoor farm solution that will only require water and seeds in the process.

I passed by this display of the working model of Singrass and I was astounded by the incredible design of this indoor farm. It has 5 levels of tray that you may utilize to start the vegetable farm. Judging by the quantity of vegetables that can fit within this cabinet-like farm, I think it can supply the required vegetables for a single house in 2 weeks. If the span of the growth of vegetables is about 2 months from seedlings to a consumable size of the plant then you will only need two of these to sustain your required vegetables in your lifetime.

The real advantage of this technology is that you can enjoy a fresh salad straight from the farm. There won't be pesticides applied to any of these vegetables so a quick rinse is all it takes for you to remove any dust or dirt that may have dropped onto the leaves of these vegetables.

Another advantage of this type of farming is that the vegetables will absorb the CO2 in the indoor air and then it will give off oxygen which is a healthy circulation within the interior space.

I was looking at the size of the farm and realized that it's similar to the size of a small wardrobe. It won't require a lot of space. The modern refrigerators are bigger than this Singrass farm and so the proportion of this is spot-on. I can say that the design was carefully planned and executed to be able to reach this kind of sleek design.

A close-up look at the seedlings, I noticed that the soil bedding is not soil. It was made from foam. The main purpose is to hold the plant in place. It was calculated well that each of the seedlings would be transferred to their permanent plot at the upper racks. No wastage is happening within this Singrass farm.

We may not be able to tell the future but we can already start making progress with the use of technology.
