Linux beats Windows all across the board, and it has been doing so for a long time now. Windows has evolved into a death trap of dead ends and a never ending hunger for your money. I opted out a few years ago, started using Ubuntu and then switched to Debian, never had any second thoughts. Software Libre rocks!

Linux is not popular because it has a bad reputation since in the past it was harder to use. Nowadays it is easy and it is better. Games run better, the system is stuff and everything just works. I love Linux and I just wis it came pre installed in more computers (for a matter of driver)
