🇺🇸 H1B Visa New $100,000 Fee – Only for New Applicants

Recently US announced that H1B new visa applications will cost $100,000. This rule is only for new entries. If anyone is already in US with H1B and they are going for renewal or extension, the fee is not changing. So renewal price is still the old one.

This change is very big, because it means new people who want to enter the US need to pay very high cost.

My View on This

I am also looking for US job opportunities, but the chances are very less now. Companies may not want to pay such a huge fee for new applicants.

Those who are already in the US with H1B are lucky – they are mostly stable in their jobs and now they have more opportunities because the competition from new H1B entries will reduce.
