ZCash Vs COTI How They Stack Up

ZCash I am sorry to say is nothing more than an expensive paper weight with the tech they have which is very limited and will struggle to be adopted in the real world. Things have changed since March this year and that change is called COTI.

Why All The Fuss?
Over the last week all eyes have been on ZCash with regard to their privacy tech and you have to question why. The problem is what was developed back in 2016 is 9 years ago and their tech is outdated. COTI launched their privacy tech this year in March and why they moved onto the Ethereum blockchain becoming an L2 token.

Looking at the image above if this was a who is better than who scenario COTI trumps ZCash on every point. This is why the institutions are using COTI and not ZCash and it is that straight forward. COTI launched their Garbled Circuits offering privacy out of need and nothing else. Every client in the business and institutional world could not use a crypto payment gate way for transactions because of the lack of privacy.
Privacy is what is going to open up crypto adoption and nothing else no matter how good an idea your crypto investment has. XRP is only being seriously talked about by banks now because one of XRP crypto partners has included Garbled Circuits on the back end. Without this tech XRP is and was never going to be used. When you consider ZCash has been around and is not adopted it tells you all you need to know as they have too many limitations.
When you take a look in the areas that matter like transaction speed we have ZCash on 3-12 per second and COTI on 80 + per second. The use cases highlights again with COTI having a list of use cases versus ZCash having only private transactions.
Imagine investing in a crypto thinking this is the answer not knowing there are alternative options more advanced. This is why one needs to understand your investment through proper research and not following social media blindly believing what you read. This is why with all the extra partnerships and announcements over the coming weeks we shall see investors taking note of COTI who will be the ones leading this privacy narrative.
Garbled Circuits being used for institutional payments, DeFi and RWA is where the news is and where COTI leaves their competitors high and dry. The reality is those companies or projects seeking privacy have to include COTI's Garbled Circuits as that is the privacy leading tech.

When we look at COTI's partnerships since March it may seem like a large number yet this is only the start with many still developing and including COTI privacy tech. The chances are in the future everyone will be using it when they log in and out of apps. This is a crypto I have been researching for 4 years already and why I invested and continue to accumulate whenever possible. COTI is that important to the entire crypto eco system and has been under the radar in front of everyone and this will pop out at some point real soon. Value is generated when you are already invested and investors come to you pumping your bags and why it is best to be ahead of the crowd and not be a part of the crowd.

Solid technical breakdown. The key distinction isn't just about privacy, but about programmable privacy. While zk-SNARKs hide transaction details, Garbled Circuits enable confidential business logic execution - that's the paradigm shift institutions actually need.
Yes business/institutions need this or they cannot use the block chain.
Exactly. Programmable privacy bridges the trust gap that has kept traditional institutions from fully embracing blockchain. Without it, mass adoption remains theoretical.
I am sure you are correct in your analysis, however the question remains: why has COTI underperformed so much since May of this year? And it underperformed not only ZCASH which it did my almost 700% but even BTC, ETH and other altcoins like AERO for example...
Zcash looks played out, but it does seem that a lot of things in Crypto are not about Tech, but about narratives...
The Coti tech is being adopted and like everything this takes time before it is noticeable. There are a few big announcements coming this month which hopefully will trigger the awareness of what Coti is doing. Crypto is all about narratives and privacy will be big for this bull cycle.
Yes, there's much hype as I also don't understand much of the narrative it has gathered as of late with privacy when it has existed for almost a decade. I'm only aware of Monero in this privacy realm. COTI looks solid with those partnerships :)
