Outfox Launches In SA Schools And Universities

Outfox is a simulation rugby "game" that teaches players how to perform under pressure using a simulation. Those that watched the documentary series "Chasing The Sun" which was an inside view into the South African rugby team would have seen Outfox being used as preparation ahead of their next matches.
Outfox has been in development for the last 13 years and has been over seen by Rassie Erasmus the Springbok rugby coach. Rassie has always been into analysis and finding new ways to unlock and break down his competition since his playing days. When he was playing he used to spend hours on research analyzing their next opponent and developing new moves that may or may not work. This video analysis was not available back then and this was done off his own back using video cassettes and a video machine. Once he showed his value to the team coaches allowed him to do his thing and introduce new moves.

Outfox is a next level game app for the players and teams along with coaches to experiment. The app will load the current data of the opposing team and then the team with the app simulates game play looking for weaknesses.
If you can recall during the World Cup quarter final against France back in 2023 the players noticed a chink in the French armor and discussed tactics on how to take advantage of this. The tactics discussed were used in the match and they scored from these moves which caught the French off guard.

One of the schools in the Western Cape has been using Outfox since February this year as part of their rugby training program. This school was never seen as a rugby powerhouse and what they have achieved in the last two weeks beating the top 2 ranked schools in the country is quite remarkable. Yes they have an elite training program that has been on the go for a number of years, but these results were a shock to how things are quickly changing.
As we know the schools are spending vast amounts of money on their elite rugby programs and this app will definitely help speed the process up of achieving higher standards. This is being offered to all schools and universities in South Africa before being rolled out in the UK for those who want to benefit from this app.
One can expect most of the professional rugby teams if not all will invest into the app and expect to see the likes of the England rugby team joining. Coaches along with players have to continually develop and the SA rugby team being part of this app for the last 4 or 5 years has definitely benefitted. Sharing this app with other teams is the right thing to do and the SA rugby team will still have the upper hand as they have been using it for so long and know how to use this to benefit the team. This has come over years of experience using this app where other teams will still be adjusting to learning what the app can offer.

Rugby is not something that is very popular in America...
Yes and the same can be said for all US sports outside of North America. The rugby world cup is being hosted by the US in 2031 so we shall see if it has any impact.
