Grandson's School Opens Tomorrow

Better Late Than Never
Finally my grandson's school is opening up after so many things have gone wrong with their proposed move resulting in two other available school sites being rejected and now having to purchase a building.
We drove past a few weeks ago having been given a rough idea of where the new property was purchased and there were only one or two buildings that seemed appropriate that could possibly be converted. Now we know which is going to be the school we were right in our presumptions and it was the first one we thought could be the one.
There is not much land for external activities and I guess if you were a property owner either side you are in for a wind fall as the school has plans to buy up any property that is available either side and on the back of the school. This may take a number of years to expand the existing school, but at least the land is theirs.
This is the exact opposite of what I saw happening in England where schools have been selling off their playing fields to developers where houses now sit. My kids old school in Horsham has had their playing fields cut in half which I find insanely stupid as surely the kids should come first in their needs.
What happened to kids being allowed to play outside as I have noticed a trend in SA with many of the properties taking the building of the house virtually to the edge of their boundaries leaving no room for any garden space. I find this off putting and look for the total opposite as I like to have the extra outdoor space which gives you options whether you use it or not. If you have animals or kids then surely that should be a must have.
My grandson is not like myself and is actually looking forward to going back to school and I guess the roughly 10 weeks he has been off is enough for anyone. We have helped with some home schooling and instead of using his phone now wants to use a computer every day which is not such a bad thing as he is actually quite good at using anything electronic. He already knows how to set up what he needs for school and would sue it as an excuse to play around whilst waiting for his teacher to appear on the screen.
I am not sure what the other kids in his class have been doing or if they even have these facilities at hand to even do these lessons. Many parents were screwed up with regard to work and looking after their kids whilst the school was temporarily closed and possible some kids have now enrolled at other schools that offer special needs. There are not many around and this school is very different in that it is run by doctors who are also the teachers and every lesson is designed a certain way to judge whatever the kids disabilities are.
An example of this is my grandson has short vision so he is a goalkeeper when they play football so they can monitor his vision with regard to the ball and often gets hit first before he sees the ball. Hopefully his vision will improve over time or their is some medical advancement that will allow him to lead a normal life. He is very normal as he is and you would never know he had a sight disability. Even when taking a hair cut he is watching a YouTube clip which is normally about the solar system or some other topic that is not necessarily what other kids would be watching. Thankfully he is quite advanced for his age and can tell you about things like the Titanic and why the the ship sank due to the bulkheads not being built to the top of the vessel. He is literally a knowledge sponge unlike many kids his age.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ ALERT ⚠️⚠️⚠️
HIVE coin is currently at a critically low liquidity. It is strongly suggested to withdraw your funds while you still can.
Our district is getting ready to do a bond proposal with some potentially massive updates. I have a feeling it will get voted down the first three or four times.
He sounds like a very bright lad, knowing the engineering flaws of the Titanic at his age shows a really high level of critical thinking
He thinks differently and even when playing with his road carpet tiles will build a 3D building instead.
I'm wondering who he is resembling with as sure it is not with his grandfather 😆
Ok, jokes aside, I'm glad he's clever and on the right track as kids at his age are not all interested in studying.
What is very pleasing is this kid is smart and likes his kiddies stuff, but also likes to learn about other topics.
