Institutions Demand And Require Privacy And Without This They Cannot And Will Not Use Crypto Or Blockchain Technology.

I mentioned the other day in a post that announcements and partnerships come thick and fast on COTI with some seeming more important than others. This one today I feel is one of those important ones that is worth sharing so at least we are all up to date. The new partnership is Nightfall ZK which I had no clue as I have never heard of this before.

What is important is to understand that ZK privacy tech used to be the privacy solution before COTI launched Garbled Circuits which is an encrypted privacy tech that offers all the bells and whistles. When I saw the ZK after the name Nightfall I was not very surprised as Zero Knowledge (ZK) is limited. Zero Knowledge is designed to operate proving information without revealing any of the information. COTI's Garbled Circuits goes one step further allowing the network to read encrypted data without revealing any information. This can be done for multi party computation with no limits whilst ZK is for single transactions.

ZK can process around 3-12 confidential transactions per second whilst COTI offers 80 per second. ZK represents the past as it is not scalable and COTI the future so instead of binning ZK technology altogether it makes sense they combine their tech bringing ZK back into play. This is the reality of having old tech that is limited in todays world and why I don't see ZK or ZCash reaching their $3191 ATH that they once had back in 2016. By adding COTI's Garbled Circuits there is some hope, but more like wishful thinking if you ask me.

What is Nightfall ZK and why is this partnership so important?

Nightfall ZK is a privacy program that was developed by Ernst and Young who are an accountant firm which I am sure most of you have all heard this name before. They as an accounting business make up the big 4 including KPMG, Deloitte and Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC). Nightfall ZK was developed back in 2019 and had a full ZK backing by 2025. Based on Ethereum and Eth compatible networks offering security that institutions require.

Adding COTI's tech Garbled Circuits Nightfall ZK suddenly offers scalability. low cost, very fast applications whilst offering institutional standards compliance and regulations. Nightfall ZK will be going live on COTI Testnet shortly and later this year will move onto COTI Mainnet. Institutions are going to be coming to crypto very soon as the lack of privacy was what was holding them back.

For crypto adoption to happen there is going to be many partnerships sharing each others tech and is not about mine is better than yours. COTI benefits from this partnership as a percentage of every transaction still happens. Billions of transactions are required to make a difference. I mentioned one partnership the other day that paid only $5 in COTI for 10 million transactions so crossing over onto other blockchains and partnering up with other crypto projects has to happen.

The COTI token will be on both the COTI Network and the COTI Nightfall Network shown in the first image. Many blockchains are going to be using COTI's tech behind the scenes allowing for privacy and added security in the transactions without those using those blockchains even knowing this exists. COTI is slowly moving from a privacy chain into a multi chain privacy solution.
