What you eat decides the destiny of your children
What you eat can make you sick and disturb you mentally. I can't express enough how important it is to watch your diet, to eat healthy foods and give up fast food, sugary treats, smoking and other things that are plain abusive for your health.
The more processed foods you are eating the greater the risk for you to develop mental disorders. If you are a man and you are obese your risk of having an autistic child doubles. If you are also diabetic then the risk quadruples. The same goes for women. This is why the percentage of autistic children has increased: adults who conceive eat worse and worse, having a diet based on fast food, sugar and tobacco.
Watching this interview with a Harvard expert in mental health will, hopefully, awaken you.
I have distilled huge important ideas that would help anyone who wants to change their current mental health condition in a better one.
Please , please make a change in your nutrition and give up toxic foods and vices before you conceive! We need adults who understand that a purification process is MANDATORY months before even thinking of having a baby.
Perhaps I sound harsh to you but believe me that the pain of having a child with issues is greater than the pain of having to discipline yourself!
I started a diet log, I write down what I eat to remind myself of what works and what does not. Sometimes, I end up forgetting which can lead to repeating similar decisions again and again. As I remind myself the choices I make, it can lead towards making different choices down the road. Which people are free to make different choices. The problem is when they forget what the consequences and rewards might be from said choices
Oh a diet log. Now this shows commitment to a healthy lifestyle , I congratulate you for it! If you can see your choices with your eyes you can make changes!
We are indeed what we eat
😀
There was a course I did on autistic children sometime ago and I got to realize that what the mother eat affects the child right from pregnancy and that’s why we’ve got so many autistic children
Yes! This is a harsh truth to hear as it is not easy for an adult to admit that perhaps ( not entirely) their lifestyle prior to conceving and during pregnancy could have caused their child to develop a disorder like autism. You can never know for certain yet if somebody is guilty of not changing their toxic lifestyle before they must always live with that question in mind " what if I would have....?"....of course that choosing ignorance is easier.
