What Will I Wish My Children Will Have

As a parent that you wish your children will be much more better than you, you will desire to have a child that will not only bear your surname but also been able to shine it brightly to your family and beyond. Every parent wants a child that will bring dignity and honour to the name of the family. As a Nigerian that I am, growing up, I was able to witness the dream of parents either coming to pass or not in the lives of their children. For some parents, their children become their better version but for some children, they even become much more worst than their parents.

I personally whenever I remember some of my personal behaviour trait, there are something's I really admire about me which I copy from my parents. That ability to be strengthen even in the midst of weaknesses is something I really admire so much. I personally, if I am a father, there are something's I will wish my children have because I also have it. The first one is the resilience spirit. My children must be able to keep going no matter the obstacles that might come their way.

For me as a Nigerian and been born to a country that is filled with so much challenges, I discovered that for you to scale through in life, you must have that resilience spirit. It is that spirit that has really helped me and I want my children to have to also. There are instances in my life that I will have wished to give up because of some obstacles and challenges I faced. But due to the strong resilience spirit I actually have in me, it helps me to keep going. I will really wish that my children also have that so that they can keep going in life.

Apart from that, one of the behaviours I will want my children to inherit from me is the ability to constantly show love and kindness every single time. It is really necessary. I grew up whereby the act of kindness towards me was really scarce. I was only shown kindness from my parents and that really transform my life around. Even though people are finding it hard to show act of love and kindness, I will have really wished that my children is known for love. They are able to spread positivity to their world through the act of kindness.

Not only that also, I will also want my children to have this strong emotional strength and maturity. For you to keep going in this life whether you are a male or a female, you will agree with me that you will need to be strong emotionally. You need to always be able to keep going no matter what they say or what people do to you. If you are mentally stable in this life, it will help you to go far in life and one of the ways you can have this mental stabilyod to have emotional maturity.

There are actually more and more behaviour trait I will wish my children should have but if they have this few ones I have mentioned, I am so sure that they will be able to take over their world. I am so sure that their greatness and future is definitely secured and it is just a matter of time before they are celebrated by their fellow peers in life. If they can have all this attributes I discussed above, definitely they will bring dignity to their family.
