Trying to beat Cuphead with Ms. Chalice - Back to the Hits

Hoy me tome un descanso de la semana para jugar algunos de los juegos que por un motivo u otro sigo teniendo en mi PC incluso cuando ya los complete, a veces suelo hacer eso si me gusto bastante el juego y estoy seguro que en un momento u otro regresare a el, juegos como Hades o Cuphead han sido de los favoritos que he podido jugar en los ultimos años y esta vez le toca a Cuphead y Ms. Chalice, el nuevo personaje que salio hace algunos meses, pasarse todo el juego nuevamente, desde los primeros niveles hasta el DLC.

Hay algunos cambios interesantes con Chalice de protagonista, ya lo experimente en los niveles del DLC pero basicamente tenemos una vida extra que siempre sirve para mantenernos vivos en el nivel asi como un parry automatico que se activa con el dash, y no estaba seguro de como iba a funcionar esta caracteristica en los niveles base de Cuphead asi que empece desde abajo en la primera isla y limpie uno a uno a los bosses.

Cuphead es uno de los pocos plataformas que me encanto desde la primera vez que lo jugue, el enfoque en los jefes mas que en los niveles scroll tradicionales asi como la personalidad de cada uno de los niveles y la animacion realmente resaltan bastante la experiencia, asi como la dificultad de cada uno de estos niveles, con Ms. Chalice algunos de estos niveles cambian bastante, ya no solo por las vidas extra que tenemos sino que ahora los parrys funcionan diferente.

Es muy probable que no complete nuevamente el juego con Chalice debido a que eso dura algo de tiempo y quiero dedicar esta semana a buscar nuevos juegos emocionantes para traer al blog, pero nunca hace daño volver a los viejos exitos que aun hoy me encanta jugar, incluso niveles que estoy seguro me heche unas 4 horas tratando de completar.

Tambien esta semana habra un nuevo giveaway de juegos para la comunidad! asi como el anuncio del ganador del anterior sorteo (aunque solo participo un usuario lol) asi que estare activo esta semana con algunos contenidos nuevos.

Today I took a break from the week to play some of the games that for one reason or another I still have on my PC even when I've completed them, sometimes I do that if I liked the game enough and I'm sure at one point or another I'll come back to it, games like Hades or Cuphead have been some of the favourites I've been able to play in the last few years and this time it's Cuphead and Ms. Chalice, the new character that came out a few months ago, to play through the whole game again, from the first levels to the DLC.

There are some interesting changes with Chalice as the main character, I already experienced it in the DLC levels but basically we have an extra life that always keeps us alive in the level as well as an automatic parry that is activated with the dash, and I wasn't sure how this feature was going to work in the base levels of Cuphead so I started from the bottom on the first island and wiped out the bosses one by one.

Cuphead is one of the few platformers that I loved from the first time I played it, the focus on the bosses rather than the traditional scrolling levels as well as the personality of each of the levels and the animation really enhance the experience, as well as the difficulty of each of these levels, with Ms. Chalice some of these levels change quite a lot, not only because of the extra lives we have but now the parrys work differently.

I probably won't complete the game again with Chalice as that takes some time and I want to spend this week looking for new exciting games to bring to the blog, but it never hurts to go back to the old hits that I still love playing today, even levels that I'm sure I've spent about 4 hours trying to complete.
