Fogged Up Monochrome Monday
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to talk about how our mental state can also reflect things like pictures.
Fogged Up Monochrome Monday
Today I am definitely in a "black and white" writing mood! LOL
I've been listening to some important podcasts lately. They have really expanded myself in a lot of topics which is great. There are so many fascinating and wonderful things out there in the world of science and technology to learn and get ourselves exposed to. That also does bring us to topics that are partially related to the interesting one, but they touch on some of the nasty things that are going on in the world today.
This is a different post than my normal monochrome Monday ones where I am in a great mood talking about the deep thought I had with the photos. I am in a decent mood, but there is a lot of a feeling of subdued in there. I know that the most important thing in a situation is to know information about what is going on. That information is empowering for sure, but it's also mentally draining and fucking stressful hahaha.
The topics I've been exploring are certainly related to technology, although it errs on the more nefarious stuff. Dual-use technology and I'm sure we can all guess what that is referring to in the recent memory of people who are paying enough attention. That is some nasty shit, particularly because this is a pattern that has happened a few times already that we know of. That is the part that is distressing.
I think what does give me some hope in the doom and gloom of it all is that information is so widespread and easily accessible that it has really thrown a wrench into the machine. Will that wrench be enough to stop the machine altogether? That remains to be seen that's for sure.
With writing about something like this, I definitely find the black and white photos are the most appropriate. When I was also seeing the foggy pictures, combined with black and white, it is definitely my mood at the moment! There are a lot of things to be unsure about right now. The most important part is that we are able to expose ourselves to this information and try to move forward as best we can. We need to know that locally, we have the best chance of improving our situations and we need to focus on that instead of the spending all our energy at the widest part of the margins.
Thankfully there are plenty of black and white photos for me to choose from that can align with my mood :D. Doom and gloom sometimes! I am hoping the fog will clear though!

I'm going to write a post about it later this week I think, but my wife and I put up our Christmas Tree already. She wanted the lights. The time change and darkness has really been getting her down and she needed something to brighten the room.
Yeah the darkness has really messed with my wife this year because she's having to drive a lot more than last year and one of the places she drives back is 3 different major highways with all kinds of lane merges and shit. She hates it lol. We definitely need the extra cheer of a Christmas tree too!
Ugh, that sounds horrible. Throw in a little rain in the dark and I can see how it would be very dangerous!
Lovely forest and fog photos!!!
