Weekly Science And Technology Reports - October 29, 2023
Hello everyone, how are we doing?
I believe you are all doing great. Well, I'm not and it's because i'm thirty................for your fear. β οΈβ οΈππππππ
Your fear is all I need, it makes me grow stronger. πΉπΉπΉ
Happy Halloween in advance !!! π€π€π€π€π€
Did I scare you there?
I'd like to think I did but it's okay if you didn't get scared. However, I still need your fear. π
Alright enough joking around and time for business.
Beyond Biology: Scientists Uncover a Universal βMissing Law of Evolutionβ
When we hear the words "the theory of evolution", the most likely thing that comes to mind is biology, especially the origin of living species. Although some of us may not agree that we are descendants of apes/ape-like ancestors, the fact is that nature doesn't give a shit about what you think/believe, it's just doing what it thinks it knows best.
So, it appears the theory of evolution that we encounter in biology is a special case of a much bigger theory, needless to say, scientists have just uncovered another fundamental law of our universe........keep reading to find out more.

I wonder if evolution is the actual god some people are looking for, you know, I mean the immovable mover. π€
Scientists Caught Sperm Defying One of The Major Laws of Physics
Sometimes I wonder if living things may have come from another dimension, a dimension yet to be discovered by physics. Generally speaking, we (living things) seem to have the power to bend the laws of physics to suit our needs or it could be that we are yet to discover the laws of physics that governs our existence, most laws of physics we have today were discovered in non-living objects or are from the perspective of non-living world.
So, what's this law of physics that our sperm seems to be defying ?
That's what we are about to find out, just keep reading. Ladies, thanks to our (we the guys) physics defying sperm πͺ, we can help you make babies, therefore we deserve respect and in turn you deserve care - for carrying our little humans. π€
Guys, that's not romantic advice, do well to DYOR. π
Menopausal chimpanzees deepen the mystery of why women stop reproducing
In humans, it's common experience for women to undergo menopause, mostly in their 50's and after which they are unable to reproduce. From a biological perspective, it's not really understood why it's so or rather there are a lot of mysteries surrounding menopause. Just to make it clearer, men remain reproductively active throughout their lives and secondly, menopause isn't widespread in the animal kingdom, just a very few female animals (most especially mammals) experiences it. There are different hypothesis though as to it's origins and purpose but a recent discovery of menopause in a particular specie of chimpanzee has just deepened the mysteries.........keep reading to find out more.
Why Some People Think 2+2=5
If I asked what 2 + 2 is, most of us, if not all would say 4, but........how do we know that the answer is actually 4 ?
You were taught in school, I guess. π
Well, my brethren, it has been known long before formal education was established. Our current arithmetic are abstractions that were guided fundamentally by physical experiences. Unfortunately for us it appears such abstractions have limits, the arithmetic we were taught in school was just an abstraction developed for one particular kind of physical experience. What I am simply saying is that there are physical experiences of which the standard arithmetic fails, for example 2 + 2 may not always give you 4 but......keep reading to find out more. Ok, now it's looking like our math isn't giving us the objective truth, just what i preached in one of my previous articles - earthling view. π
Does Free Will Exist? New Study Challenges Classic Libet Experiments
There are many things about ourselves we don't fully know and understand, the very common one being consciousness but there are others, others like freewill. Freewill is also a very hot philosophical and scientific topic, it invokes other very interesting philosophical topics like the existence of an omniscience designer - if there's an omniscience designer, then no freewill or vice versa, another interesting topic related to freewill is being able to see the future/temporal paradox - being able to accurately see the future seems to be in conflict with freewill. If we don't have freewill, then we could be likened to zombies. However, for some as yet to be understood reason, most of us would like to think that we do have freewill. In the 1970's and 80's a scientist by the name Benjamin Libet preformed series of experiments that seemed to be suggesting we don't have freewill and the result of the experiments seemed to have raised a lot of controversies. In this report, scientists have reconducted the experiment and do you know what they found out ?
What they found out was that.......keep reading. I wonder why we should even care about freewill, if we indeed not have it.
Or was that also predestined too? π€
It is here we conclude today's report, have a thoughtful day and till i come your way again next week.
