Monomad !! A unique type of insect pest.

Good morning friends who love photography in the black and white community. On this morning's occasion I will discuss one of the insects which is quite often the enemy of farmers, namely leaf ladybugs or what is known by the scientific name Pentatomidae .

This type of insect looks very small and calm, but who would have thought that its presence could have a serious impact on farmers' cultivated plants such as rice and chilies.

In several of the pictures I uploaded, you can clearly see a member of the Pentatomidae family perched on grass that is so small that it is hidden from view.

Farmers need to know that these insects are known to suck plant fluids, which can cause plants to wilt and not develop optimally. This of course makes farmers have to be wary of their presence.

Even though it is a pest or threat to farmers' crops, I think this insect is also interesting to study because it has a very unique character or physical form, its body shape is the same as the body shape of a beetle, its colors vary , including green combined with brown.
