A new survey reveals that many employees forced back into the office engage in "coffee badging" - just showing up briefly to swipe their employee badge or grab a coffee before heading back home to continue working remotely. Nearly 60% of hybrid workers admit to doing this bare minimum to meet in-office requirements. Employees cite high commuting costs, lack of flexibility, and unproductive office environments as reasons for not wanting to be there full-time. Companies have more work to do in providing attractive office perks and technology to entice workers back. The report sheds light on the disconnect between employers mandating returns to work versus what employees actually want.
