I'm so excited about my new purchase! Last weekend, my daughters @bethyjade and @mairene1 gave me a wonderful gift that I really needed—a brand new cell phone. My old one was so old and worn out that the power button was gone, and I had to do a factory reset several times because it couldn't even open the most basic apps, like social media. So, last weekend, my daughters came home with this new phone. It's an Orbic Myra, a relatively unknown brand, but from what I've researched online, it's been great.
Estoy muy entusiasmada con mi nueva adquisición, ya que el fin de semana pasado mis hijas @bethyjade y @mairene1 me dieron un maravilloso regalo que yo realmente necesitaba, y mucho, se trata de un telefono celular completamente nuevo, ya que el anterior que yo tenía era muy antiguo y estaba tan deteriorado que ya no tenía la tecla de encendido y en varias ocasiones hubo que hacerle un reseteo de fábrica porque ya no podía ni aceptar als aplicaciones más básicas, como las de las redes sociales, así que el fin de semana pasado mis hijas llegaron a casa con esta novedad. Se trata de un Orbic Myra, una marca poco conocida pero según lo que estuve investigando por internet ha salido muy buena.
The first thing I did was take it out of the box and I was surprised by its large size (compared to the one I had before). I removed the film that was on the screen and realized that they had already put tempered glass on it, which is very good to protect it from scratches or drops.
Lo primero que hice fue sacarlo de la caja y la verdad es que me sorprendió su gran tamaño (en comparación con el que yo tenía anteriormente) le retiré la película que tenía en la pantalla y me di cuenta que ya le habían puesto vidrio templado, lo cuál es muy bueno para protegerlo de rayones o caídas.
Besides being big, it's very pretty, and even though my daughters told me it's a pretty basic model, I'm surprised and especially grateful because its features are much better than my old phone. For example, the main camera on that phone stopped working; only the selfie camera worked, which was only about 5 megapixels. And even though I don't know much about that 😝, I do know that more pixels mean better photos, so I'm happy with my new phone because it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 48-megapixel triple rear camera. I also looked into the battery, which is 5000 mAh, and I'm surprised by its fast charging capacity. Plus, it lasts a really long time. I also read in the manual that came in the box that the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB, although I must confess that I don't know much about this, if anything at all, I just wanted to share that information with you.
Además de grande es muy bonito, y a pesar de que mis hijas me dijeron que es más bien un modelo muy sencillo, yo estoy sorprendida y sobre todo agradecida porque las funciones que tiene son mucho mejores que las del telefono que yo tenía anteriormente, por ejemplo a ese celular ya no le funcionaba la cámara principal, tan solo le funcionaba la de selfie, la cuál tenía como 5 megapixeles, y aunque y no sé mucho de eso 😝 sí sé que a mayor cantidad de pixeles, mejor salen las fotos, así que estoy feliz con mi nuevo telefono, porque tiene una cámara de selfie de 16 megapixeles y una cámara trasera triple de 48 Megapixeles. También estuve investigando sobre la batería, la cuál es de 5000 mAh y me sorprende la capacidad que tiene para una carga rápida, además dura muchísimo. También estuve leyendo en el manual que viene en la caja que el telefono tiene un procesador Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, 6GB de RAM y 64GB, aunque debo confesar que de esto no sé mucho, por no decir nada, tan solo quería compartir con ustedes esa información.
In addition to the instruction manual, the box includes some interesting and very useful items, such as the USB-C charger. I'm particularly impressed by the material the cable is made of; it looks flexible yet is extremely durable. It also comes with a small key to access the SIM card slot.
Además del manual de instrucciones en la caja vienen algunas cosas interesantes y muy funcionales obviamente, como el cargador tipo C, y me sorprende mucho el material del que está hecho el cable, se ve flexible pero sumamente resistente. Y también viene con una llavecita para abrir el acceso a la sim Card.
I'm really happy because the difference with my old phone is huge! I feel so much more comfortable with this one, and it's perfect for my daily activities and for taking photos for my posts here on Hive. Thank you so much for reading my post! Sending you a big hug and virtual kisses 🤗 😘
De verdad estoy muy contenta porque obviamente la diferencia con el celular que yo tenía antes es abismal, con este me siento mucho más cómoda y la verdad es que me viene muy bien para mis actividades diarias y para tomar fotos para mis post aquí en hive.
