Creando imágenes con Inteligencia Artificial [ESP - ENG]

He estado estudiando mucho la inteligencia artificial (AI) estas últimas semanas, he estado buscando las alternativas de las aplicaciones, sobre todo las que están disponibles de Venezuela, y todo porque al ver un video sobre Dall-e se me volaron los tapones, es una manera rápida y sencilla de crear imágenes, con la ayuda de este software, maravillosas e increíblemente hermosas. Pero Dall-e no está disponible, aún, en Venezuela.

Ya hay quienes se han hecho expertos en los comandos, si, porque el truco es la manera como activas el programa, las instrucciones con las que comienzas a pincelar la imagen a través del ordenador. Existen varias versiones para crear imágenes con la ayuda de la inteligencia artificial y la semana pasada encontré una versión que se puede adaptar a nuestro canal de Discord, y sin necesidad de descargar nada, comenzar a jugar y aprender como usar la variante xxxxxxx de la AI.

Hace un tiempo abrí un servidor en discord para que los caraqueños estemos juntos y comenzar a idear encuentros, y destiné un canal para que todos podamos aprender a usar esta herramienta que, a nosotros como creadores de contenido en Hive, nos viene al pelo. Uno de los mayores avances, y la razón por la que lo instalé, es que cada imagen está libre de derecho de autor. Tu la creaste y por eso ya es tuya, de tu mente creativa salieron los comandos de su creación.

I have been studying artificial intelligence (AI) a lot these last weeks, I have been looking for the alternatives of applications, especially those that are available from Venezuela, and all because seeing a video about Dall-e blew my mind, it is a quick and easy way to create images, with the help of this software, wonderful and incredibly beautiful. But Dall-e is not yet available in Venezuela.

There are already those who have become experts in the commands, yes, because the trick is the way you activate the program, the instructions with which you start to paint the image through the computer. There are several versions to create images with the help of artificial intelligence and last week I found a version that can be adapted to our Discord channel, and without downloading anything, start playing and learn how to use the xxxxxxx variant of AI.

Some time ago I opened a server on discord for the caraqueños to be together and start to devise meetings, and I set up a channel so that we can all learn how to use this tool that, to us as Hive content creators, comes in handy. One of the biggest advances, and the reason why I installed it, is that each image is copyright free. You created it and that's why it's already yours, from your creative mind came the commands for its creation.

La herramienta funcionó bajo versión de beta cerrada hasta que el 13 de julio de 2022 el laboratorio anunció el comienzo de una beta abierta.​ Utiliza un modelo de difusión.

Así que les propongo comencemos a jugar con esta herramienta, veamos como se utiliza, primero que nada les propongo entrar en el servidor Caraqueños en Hive para comenzar con el trabajo:

Midjourney is an independent research lab and the name of an artificial intelligence program with which its users can create images from textual descriptions, similar to Dall-e from OpenAI. The tool ran under closed beta until July 13, 2022 when the lab announced the start of an open beta. It uses a diffusion model.

So I propose you to start playing with this tool, let's see how to use it, first of all I propose you to enter the Caraqueños server in Hive to start working:

Hay dos maneras de utilizar esta herramienta, una bastante precaria es de la que ya hablé, la instalada en cualquier servidor de discord, otra es entrando en la web https://www.midjourney.com/, y trabajar allí directamente. La otra es como ya saben, instalarla en tu propio servidor. Es gratuita y es genial, los invito a servirse del canal #bot-ai para practicar, para después pasar a la web oficial, ya que en la web oficial debemos comenzar a pagar por el uso de la aplicación.

Siguiendo estas instrucciones lo puedes instalar en tu propio servidor, pero debemos estar claros que nunca será como la aplicación pagada, siempre será un aproximado de lo que puede llegar a ser.

Dicho esto vamos a crear nuestra primera imagen:

Una vez en el canal activamos el comando /imagine lo que nos abrirá una pequeña ventana donde escribiremos lo que estamos imaginando, vamos a probar con un paisaje lleno de globos aerostáticos. Eso si, podemos escribir en español, así nos evitamos el trauma de no saber expresar nuestras ideas de la manera correcta.

Once in the channel we activate the /imagine command which will open a small window where we will write what we are imagining, let's try with a landscape full of hot air balloons. Of course, we can write in Spanish, so we avoid the trauma of not knowing how to express our ideas in the right way.

Vamos a trabajar en alguna de estas, para ver las posibilidades que nos ofrece. Debemos esperar un poco que se enfoque la imagen para comenzar a trabajar sobre ella. Ahora si, no le he dado muchas opciones, podemos ser más específicos de lo que queremos encontrar, pero decidí mantenerlo simple para el tutorial. La imagen que más me ha gustado es la V3.

La primera fila de botones (U1, U2, U3 y U4) están destinados a aumentar la resolución y tamaño de nuestra imagen, y la segunda fila de botones está destinada a crear variaciones de la imagen seleccionada. Y así nos presenta variaciones de la imagen seleccionada, vamos ahora a aumentar el tamaño, para descubrir que tipo de detalles agrega al hacerlo.

Let's work on one of these, to see the possibilities it offers us. We must wait a little while for the image to come into focus to start working on it. Now yes, I have not given you many options, we can be more specific of what we want to find, but I decided to keep it simple for the tutorial. The image I liked the most is V3.

The first row of buttons (U1, U2, U3 and U4) are intended to increase the resolution and size of our image, and the second row of buttons is intended to create variations of the selected image. And so we are presented with variations of the selected image, let's now increase the size, to find out what kind of details it adds by doing so.

Ahora veamos para que sirven los botones nuevos:

• Make Variations hace lo mismo que el botón V de la imagen anterior, crear variaciones de la imagen seleccionada.
• Upscalinng to Max aumenta la resolución al máximo 1664x1664.px.
• Light Upscale Redo comienza de nuevo pero sin agregar tantos detalles.

Now let's see what the new buttons are for:

• Make Variations does the same as the V button in the previous image, create >variations of the selected image.
• Upscalinng to Max increases the resolution to the maximum x1664.px.
• Light Upscale Redo starts over but without adding as much detail.
