Immune System Memory and Vaccine Technology
If there is something I have come to learn, it is the fact that the human body always behaves in a very special way most especially when it comes to protecting itself from diseases that might want to enter our body. The system which we known it to be that is responsible for that action is called the immune system.
They are like the defense army for our body against diseases of any kind. Whenever I actually remember this, I am amazed of how God perfected everything in our body. If there is something that helps the immune system to keep working, it is called the immune memory.
What do I mean by that, immune memory works in a way whereby it is able to remember a particular virus or bacteria it has fight before and even respond to fighting it faster the next time it appears.
Take for example a new germ enters your body, what the immune system does is to first study the bacteria or virus and fight it. During the process of fighting it, some cells such as the T cells and even the B cells are been activated because these cells helps to destroy the bacteria.
As time goes on, those cells now become the memory cells that helps the immune system to remember the particular bacteria or virus so that if they find their way to our body again, the immune system can respond to it faster and defeat it faster. This is one of the major reason why you will discover that some people did not get sick from the same disease two times. It is because of these memory cells.
In facts thanks to vaccine technology. What do I mean by that, with the vaccine technologies now, there is a natural ability that our body used to respond that is now much more better. The role that vaccines does to our body is to make sure that our immune system are actually train to do it's job effectively without not making the person to be seriously sick.
What I mean is vaccines been introduced to the body helps to position the immune system to be ready to fight those diseases when before they enter our body.
One lovely thing about vaccines that even make me to love them more is the fact that they did not even only protect that person alone, they also helps to even protect other people.
There are vaccines that helps to make sure sure that diseases can not spread easily which helps to make the environment safe for everyone even including those who did not even take the vaccines.
For me, the immune system memory is actually not negotiable. It plays a major role in our body and that is why as individuals, we must always find a way to actually make sure that our immune system is in a very top condition. It do us more good than we can ever imagine of.
