Correct, only for the individuals who are in acute distress (saying they want to end their lives, thinking about suicide, etc.). For someone who has a chronic condition, generally they're already in the process of dealing with it, and thus are not as urgent to have everyone called in.
However, if during your conversation you elicit that they are suicidal, etc., then that's the time to call people in.
