Hello #scifimultiverse, trust you are doing great. Happy Valentine's Day in advance. I am happy to participate in this week’s prompt. I welcome you to my blog.

FRIENDS DON'T LIE

A friend is someone who shows undiluted care, trust, and loyalty. They respect my choice, share in their friends' joy and pain, and advise them wisely. Friends are strong bonds in good, bad, and ugly times. Sometimes, they are bridges to our next move.

Actually, friends do not lie and are not supposed to lie. It is a simple saying with deep thought and critical reasoning. Some good friends are very good to the core without any form of manipulation. Some friends are hypocrites and green snakes in green grass.

The question is, are there friends who lie? Yes, and are friends supposed to lie? No. Friends lie because their friends do not trust the truth they tell them. Again, if their friends prefer deceit to clarity and sincerity, they will most likely resort to lying to them. Secondly, friends are not supposed to lie, but they can lie when their truth is not believed or accepted.

I once heard a story, a friend picked a few pieces of Goat dung and went to her friend and gave it to her to chew in the name of April Fool. Her friend loves palm kernel very much. So they normally visit a nearby restaurant where they make banga soup to pack the washed palm kernels gotten from the banga soup. They are neighbours anyway. When she got to her friend's house, she called her and gave her the pieces of the goat dung, informing her that she shelled some palm kernels from their storage and brought some for her.

Without questioning her friend, she packed them straight into her mouth and started chewing immediately. At that point, she noticed the thirst wasn’t the same. Instantly, her friend shouted April fool. Her friend almost threw up and started shouting. Their neighbours gathered, and she explained her plight to them. That was when her friend confirmed that she had given her dry pieces of goat dung. That single act divided them and cost them that friendship.

In conclusion, friendship is built on trust, care, love, and loyalty. When these virtues abound, such friends don’t lie; rather, their virtues deepen the relationship and remove fear, thus opening doors of sincerity, honesty, integrity, and growth among such friends.

A lot of people do crazy things in the name of April fool, imagine a day meant for laughter cost them their friendship. I hope friends learn to know what to take serious and not

Exactly, I agree with you. People need to learn to stay within their boundaries 🙄.
Moments like April fool should not be for awkward activities such as deceiving people.
Just like what we see today in the name of pranks. Some of them are just too mean.

That was quite and expensive joke, although it's obvious she just wanted to have fun.

I wish they had resolved things and not just split.

Yes, the joke was an expensive one. She would have also stopped somewhere rather than allowing her friend chew the goat dung.
It really cost them a lot.
Thank you for stopping by.
