LIFE WITHOUT SMART PHONES

Hello #scifimultiverse friends, Thank God It's Friday.
The world is evolving in technology. Almost everything can be done through a smartphone. So many individuals do not have physical shops, but they have online shops that they manage from the comfort of their homes. The reasons include the high cost of shops, limited visibility, and commuting to the physical shop every day.

However, Life is almost impossible without a smartphone. For example, I run my side hustle, including the Hive blockchain, via my smartphone. Again, so many hospitals use online platforms, making it almost impossible to navigate without a smartphone.

Again, my smartphone is a strong connection for me. I relate to my family, friends, and colleagues through my smartphone. Communication and information are power; therefore, it will be impossible to do this without a smartphone. I also keep up with trends in my profession and track updates using my smartphone.

Life without a smartphone will be like a ship without a rudder. It will be difficult to do so. Though some people would ask what about those periods we lived without a phone. It seems life moved more slowly and with a lot of stress.

Imagine going to a post office to send a letter, waiting for many days, weeks, and months to get my correspondence to a loved one or company. The frustration of staying in the dark regarding live news and internet updates. Imagine going to the bank every day to carry out transactions, which have been made seamless today through the help of the smartphone.

On the other hand, the use of phones has put many people in harm's way because of the inability to control their usage. The phone has taken the number one place in some people's lives instead of their partners or spouses. Some are addicted to the usage to the extent that they sleep and wake up pressing their phones. Some use phones in prohibited places like the filling station or the church out of ignorance or pride, endangering their lives.

Additionally, some encountered fatal incidents due to wrong phone usage. Such people walk on the road pressing their phones. Some have permanent disability because of the inappropriate use of the phones at the factory. Some companies have policies that prohibit employees from entering the production floor with their phones. But some employees will outsmart security measures and do otherwise. At the end of the day, there will be fatal incidents that may lead to permanent disability because of phone usage.

In conclusion, life without a phone will be like an unending punishment.
