We're Not That Invincible!!!
What is that point where we get so good at something that we begin to feel untouchable and bigger than the rest of the world? I think this is something many of us are guilty of, and we do it without even realizing it.
Acts like these go hand in hand with the feeling of being indispensable, feeling like the world revolves around us and what we have to offer, and the moment we remove ourselves from the equation, all that will be left will be nothing but chaos and disruption. When we tell ourselves things like this, it makes us want to do even more, and it gives us more morale to feel invincible and untouchable.
Sadly, the world is more cruel than that. No one is untouchable. No one is invincible. No matter how good you are, no matter how loved, if care is not taken, you too will be taken off the board and there’ll be nothing you can do to prevent it. That’s just the raw truth.
These days, we see celebrities and influencers feeling on top of the world. Many of them feel they can come online and say whatever they want, just because they have a strong following. Many of them can come online to incite conflicts and brew controversy, chasing clout all in the name of making money. And because they have fans who won’t hold them accountable, who will still love them regardless, they feel they can continue doing as they want.
It gets even worse when such celebrities and influencers turn it all up on the very fans who love and adore them and are responsible for the money and fame they enjoy. Many of these guys don’t rate their fans at all, they only see them as a stepping stone to the big bucks they make. We see this many times in the kind of posts they make, how they treat their fans, and the like.
Why are many of them so confident? It’s because they know that after all is said and done, nothing will be done to them. They’ll simply move on to the next controversial thing and life will continue as usual. This is what breeds the feeling of being invincible. This is what makes them feel that no matter what they do, they will be on solid ground.
But like I said before, no one is above cancelation. Eventually, you’re going to do something that’s going to warrant them letting you go. It won’t matter how much you rake in for them, it won’t matter how vital your input is. They’re gonna let you go and there’s not a single thing you’d be able to do to stop it.
This doesn’t just happen in the world of social media. We see it in politics, jobs, and even in churches. There will always be those who feel like they alone do all the work and as such they deserve to be cut some slack because they can’t imagine ever getting in trouble. And then, there are those who put so much of their heart and soul into their jobs or whatever project they’re working on, even to the point that it destroys their personal life.
They believe their companies would not be able to survive without them, so they’ll give everything they have, sacrificing even their family. But when the day of reckoning comes, they’ll learn the harsh truth. If the founder of a company can get fired from his own company, then no one is above getting the sack. No matter how much you have poured in.
Why am I saying all this? I’m only trying to remind us that the world doesn’t revolve around us. We shouldn’t get so comfortable in what we do, that we believe it would remain that way forever. We must always be ready for change, if change meets us prepared then we might always be on top. But if we’re found wanting, then we would suffer for it and be left behind.
Do your best in whatever you do, and try to be good at all times, but never at the cost of your soul or your personal life. Because if everything leaves you, that life is what you’d have to return to.
So, my dear friends, no matter what you do in life, do your best and have a great time while at it. Because that day might just be your last day to enjoy it.

The world truly doesn't revolve around us, I have several example of people who got to the top feeling like gods but today an average citizen is better than they are. It's life, we ought to live with caution and with the consciousness that it's us today, tomorrow, it might be someone else.
No one knows tomorrow, we might feel invincible because of what we have now, but if we're not careful, tables can turn faster than we can even blink!

Confidence is good but when it cross it limits means over confidence then it brings destruction. I think no human can be untouchable or unreachable and everyone can be replaced with better replacement. If anyone think that they are not replaceable then they are dreaming.
The true problem starts when we begin to think we're untouchable. That's when we start to make mistakes that could only lead to our downfall.
Sometimes, we have to remind ourselves of these sad truths 🥲 humans are unreliable and so rejections can come after being so loved. Getting through them to be strong is what matters.

The world keep evolving at a very fast pace daily
No one is indeed invisible, anyone can be replaced or kicked out unexpectedly that's one of the reasons I urge people to always thread gently wherever they find themselves.
At my previous job, I was let go despite the things I did to grow my area. Today, someone else is enjoying that hard work but I am glad it was someone who also learned a lot from me then. I was able to utilize the power and position I had to change lives and I am enjoying that today.
I read the book Thriller a few days ago and can't wait to read about the action, chase and others.
Omo... that thing can pain ehn. Work hard to grow something, only to be kicked out when it's all done. But then, such is life. If you do it with that expectation, you'll be subconsciously prepared for the moment when they would let you go.
It won't come as a shock.
One thing I would like to say here is that these heroes and influencers are created because of people and when their fans try to meet them, they misbehave so much. It should not be done in this way at all, if it is not fans, no one will call them heroes.
